reading her ads…she is still trying to place her “perfect” horses in the “perfect” home to the “perfect person”. Is there such a thing as a “perfect” person other than God? And Mandy, I hope you get an answer from her so you can get closure.

Mandy, you MUST remember you are NOT the bad actor here. You did all the right things by your babies, and I know in my heart they still love you and miss you, wherever they are. This is under no circumstances your fault. At the time you donated, there was no place like this forum that could have warned you about this train wreck. Concentrate on all of the other innocent horses and owners who will read your story and avoid her like the plague. You may save any number of horses and owners all sorts of pain, and I think that’s pretty admirable of you. And yes, some day karma will catch up, it always does :yes:
If your babies have crossed the rainbow bridge, they are safe and happy and you will see them again. If they’ve not crossed over, then there is always a remote chance she placed them with someone who loves them as much as you did. Hang in there, kiddo, so many of us are sending prayers and positive thoughts and support your way.

If she’s lied all along about the horses and where they end up, what makes any of you think, even if she bothers to answer Mandy’s e-mail, that she’s going to FINALLY tell her the truth? Mandy, I’m sorry you lost your horses, but sometimes there ARE no answers. To expect the truth out of someone like that now is nothing more than wishful thinking.
I would like to think she would answer her after all this time. My reasoning: I sold my barrel mare to a girl 10 yrs ago and FINALLY got her to tell me where she ended up. They avoided all my calls and inquires throughout the years and she finally told me the other day. So I have great hope that Mandy will get her answers. I hope they are good answers though. Like the others said, don’t beat yourself up Mandy you didn’t know and thought you were doing right by your horses.
Barrelchick, after 10 years of you hounding her, maybe she just got tired of it and told you something to get you off her back. Did she really tell you the truth, or just something she knew you’d believe to get you to go away? Did you actually verify her story, or just believe what she told you? Mandy might get an answer but without concrete, verifiable proof, it’s just something someone told her in the hopes she’ll shut up. My money’s on the second scenario, not the first.

Well excuse me for being a person that believes that people can be nice and truthful. You seem like a very negative person and that’s sad. And I didn’t “hound” them. And I am presently searching now. She did give me details that I can follow up so stop bashing me. Its true she may tell Mandy what she wants to hear but sometimes its better to believe the best in people instead of the worst. Life is too short to hate and disagree with everyone.

I agree that it’s better to believe the best in people instead of the worst–until they have shown you their true colors. In this case, she has shown us time and again her true colors, and nice and truthful are nowhere in her rainbow. yeah i know the chances of her telling me the “truth” are slim, but i keep hopen that perhaps the horse lover that obviously once was in her (however long ago) is still sumware in there and she will tell me, what does she really have to lose, its been like 7 years so mine are prob dead, i know this, they would have passed of old age by now wherever they were, so perhaps she will just tell me, at this point i dont care if she sold my pony or my mares as long as she found them a good home b/c thats all i really wanted for them in the first place. But yes i beleave that there is good in everyone no matter how small it may be.
I too have confirmed she ships them to kill a few months ago…was so disgusted that I didn’t look at this thread for a very long time. If only she knew how many hearts she has broke…

Sorry I’ve been missing for so long. I have been in recovery from my Brit experience. Bought some nice WB babies and have a welsh pony coming to the farm on Tuesday.

He sure does look a lot like the TB I had at my farm but can’t be 100% sure - I should upload a few pics for you guys this week. I really wish someone could haul Brit to Sugarcreek and let her go to the highest bidders. I do also have the TB’s tattoo number written down in my records.
where’s she posting horses for sale/lease now? i know she still has horses on the farm.
She’s back on equinenow.com w/ some new ones, or at least new names. If you lease from her, you are responsible for coggins, health certificates, shipping, etc. Or maybe it was that way before? According to one ad there appears to be more drama in her life. Maybe another attempt at making people feel sorry for her??

well she never e-mailed me back about my pony or horses…big shocker huh…i didn’t think she would, her solution to people like me who she has stolen horses from and resold is to ignore them…i don’t know what to do now, seems she is just going to continue to get away with what she does and its just wrong !!
Sorry mandy. Her response back would more than likely have turned everything around to make you seem like the “bad person”. Stop trying, know you’ve done what you can, and move on. Others will certainly learn from what you’ve posted here. Good Luck!
