I placed an order Monday afternoon. I’m located in the same state as the Smartpak warehouse/store.
On Wednesday afternoon when it still hadn’t shipped (even though on the page it said “ships 10/24” and expected arrival date was yesterday) I called and added a bucket of supplements to the order.
I got a shipment notice last night - for only the bucket of supplements. My original order still hasn’t shipped - four days after I placed it.
When I called, the girl on the phone says the shipping department is “a few days behind.”
What gives? If you’re a few days behind then update your planned ship and arrival dates. She couldn’t tell me when this might actually ship other than it will arrive “Monday at the latest” but since it still hasn’t shipped I don’t see how that will happen. I ordered some breeches that I needed to have this week.
I have a huge store credit that I need to spend down but otherwise I think I am going to give smartpak a pass from now on. Their primary advantage used to be free, fast shipping since I’m so close to the warehouse/store. I’ve never had a major retailer take four days to put an in-stock item in a box.
PS my order still says “arrives by 10/27” on the order history page.
