I had to exchange an item I bought from them and they were prompt and polite. The communication was excellent, too - they are easy to reach and quick to respont to email.
Had same experience as Limerick…online order, charged for item immediately, cancelled order, STILL waiting on credit (2 months later)…very hard to get them to return phone calls or emails. Have been in the store and received very good service. I will never order from them online or over the phone again, though, because they do not have a good handle on that end of customer service.
That store is great! If you are ever in the area, stop and shop. I’ve never ordered from them. But I have called to see if they had certain items. They were very helpful each time I called.
I have had nothing but excellent service from The Farmhouse! They have a real gift for the whole “personal shopper” thing, IMO. And they’ve always been very prompt to answer phone/email communications. I’d recommend them without hesitation!
Another thumbs up for Farmhouse! They have excellent customer service and frequently will call me if something they know I like/want/need goes on sale Probably not the best idea for my wallet but definitely good for their business :lol:
I have bought frequently from Farmhouse and have nothing but great things to say about their superior customer service as well as their large inventory, they always have the current trends in stock too. And I shop strictly by phone or online, since I live out of state. Any credits have been refunded promptly and they go out of their way to be helpful, even walking around the store with a camera taking photos of items not on their website and emailing them to me, so that I can make decisions about gifts. I only wish I lived within dropping in distance so that I could shop there in person.

Agree with all of the above! They had a GPA speed air sale and I ordered online. Something happened where they didn’t have the size I ordered and someone called me to apologize and see if there was any other size that would work. Got the helmet quickly after that!! If i could behave myself better I would shop there a lot, but I have little self control when it comes to a good deal!

I had a similar experience as well…I ordered a used saddle from them on trial, and when it came, it was not in great shape. It was fine, but not the “excellent” condition they had listed. Also, it was too small, and when I sent it back, it took me several weeks to get a refund processed and required multiple phone calls & emails. This was for a $3500 saddle, so not an insignificant amount of money. I probably wouldn’t order a saddle from them again, but might consider other products.
I sent an e-mail earlier today inquiring about a jacket and heard back within 2 hours or so - I was very impressed by that!
Never ordered online but LOVE shopping with them at horse shows. My credit card cringes when it sees the Farm House tent!
They’re here at KHP a lot (all the h/j shows we have). I’ve bought several items from them (nothing major) and have been very pleased with both selection and service.
I had a great experience when I ordered a shadbelly from them! I saw they had really excellent prices on Marigold shadbellies, but being up here in Canada, I was very anxious about ordering something I couldn’t see, touch and try on. They were wonderful about holding my hand through the whole process, and the shad arrived here in no time at all, especially considering it had to cross a boarder to do so! Lovely, lovely coat, great price, and an exceptional customer service experience.
FHT managed to find and is going to get a coat for me that Bevals told me I couldn’t get anymore without getting it completely custom (which would cost over $800)…for less than half of what Bevals quoted me. It’s not a complicated coat, just a hunter green Grand Prix one. I’m both blown away by FHT and disappointed in Bevals; FHT called Grand Prix to find out about the coat, whereas Bevals just told me it couldn’t be done.
FHT is going to get a lot more of my business now, that’s for sure!
Headed there tomorrow. They are a great place to shop in person- very, very helpful and nice staff- whether you are on a budget or come in flashing your gold card. Very knowledgeable. It is great to go someplace where staff is so welcoming, even if you are just buying a hoofpick and perusing the sale room.
My only online/phone orders have been fine with them. And umm, they helped my SO buy me half chaps. Now the only shopping he can handle is picking up a six pack at the grocery store. So the fact that they walked him through the process of purchasing half chaps by phone is nothing short of a miracle.

Supershorty, you won’t be disappointed if you start giving your business to Farmhouse, they are far superior to Beval in their customer service IMO.

I have used them several times w/ success, but had a similar issue recently. Ordered 3 pairs of TS breeches online, 2 weeks later hadn’t received an email about shipping or a package. Sent an email to get status, come to find out they were waiting for mobile unit to get back to the store to see what they had in stock. could’ve sent me an email to let me know! 2 days later still no word, sent another email, reply said that they did not have the ones I needed in stock. Again, an email letting me know that would’ve been nice.

I was going to do an online order last night, but was unsure of the fit of one of the items (couldn’t decide which size to order)
So I called them this morning and they were SO helpful! She went and physically pulled the item, told me about how the cut was, etc. So it helped me decide on size. She also gave me up to date inventory which was a huge bonus (I would have ordered one last night, that is no longer available)
Lastly - I then said I was looking for tan gloves appropriate for foxhunting and she found a perfect pair in my size, which were NOT listed on the website
Very good experience.
