Yes, She was a lovely young person and it was extremely sad when she died. This stuffed horse that was given to her when first diagnosed and had been bought at Badminton. She had a lovely blog and “Willberry” has ridden around Badminton to raise awareness of a charity that Hannah had chosen that benefits children with cancer.
He is called Willberry the Wonder Pony.

Anyone know what happened in the fall?
MJ is an Eventing God. Sam is 17. They made that look like a cake walk. Watching him then flipping to the US rider the riding style is such a stark contrast. The announcers were talking about MJs position too- or of the saddle and folded at the hip which I think not enough riders these days ride like. They have taken the American showjumping position and brought it to cross country and I really think it is part of their downfall. Mark Todd, AN, Blyth Tait all ride in that seat too. More riders need to get OFF their horses backs.
I think they were right to say MJ and Sam are probably the greatest eventers to ever live. Regardless of how he finishes that was beyond impressive. Especially considering a week ago he was on the other side of the world.

Dear FEI producers, when you have more than one combo on course and you’ve been showing one of them to the exclusion of the others, lengthy crowd shots are really maddening to those of us who’ve now paid for your live stream to watch non-british riders. No one pays for live stream for crowd shots.

So the deer flew all the way home all right? Go DONNER and LYNN. All I know is the lovely line of dashes across the fence by fence scoreboard – no idea of her time or her trip other than the one sticky fence they showed, the corral.
That one cameraperson loves that overweight Basset, I think I’ve seen it three times now.

This is why I don’t usually pay for eventing streams-they make every attempt to show as little footage of non-European riders as possible. It’s enraging b/c it’s clearly a conscious decision. When Lynn started there were only two of them on course because Romeike retired. The producers used it as an excuse to follow the Irish river then Tom McEwan without cutting away until they picked up Sarah Ennis after she started. It will be interesting if we see any of Lauren and Veronica given they’re quite up the leaderboard to start.
ETA Now they’ve zeroed in on some poor pre-teen girl eating an ice cream cone. WTF? Not cool producer man.
