The frangible into the water saved that horse from a rotation. I would say that it would have been the case with a log and brush that wfp wanted as well

I’m not able to watch right now, but it really sounds like things aren’t going well. 1 horse forcibly retired and another needing to be transported off course 6 horses in? Sounds like maybe this isn’t a day for XC.

What is going on at badminton.
I know Izzy Taylor has dated OT but didn’t think she was also a horrible horse person… Horse falls and she just keeps kicking and has to be pulled up.

Majority of riders have taken the alternate at the head of the lake. I think maybe 2 riders have taken the direct so far, Pippa and I don’t remember the second rider

Dan Jocelyn went direct. Logs soundly clobbered, all down in the water looking like pick up sticks.
Wondering how much that influences riders still to come.

This is hard to watch. I’ve never seen so many exhausted horses even in the long format days. Not that I’m surprised by Ollie’s lack of horsemanship but he & Izzy were appalling and I hope, at least, get carded.
