Badminton;

I love Corvett! I remember him being super clever in the triple during the KY showjumping last year.

Pippa fell at #5.

12 out of 17 isn’t most to you? You have a different opinion of bad falls then. No need to try and convince me otherwise.

Another fall :frowning:

Too bad for Corvette and the drive by, that’s one my fav horses. He was so straight through the corners it was very impressive.

Ballaghmore Class is just incredible.

Oy on this rider in red ! He’s getting it done somehow

Seems like this event is clear or fall.

Ky was clear or run outs.

Did I miss Piggy’s second ride?

Withdrawn before the start.

Nice that they still let the dogs swim.

Nvm wrong person

Excerpted the article to only include the statement (the rest is just a recap stating where the fall occurred and how they were placed until then):

"The statement reads: “Nicola Wilson, competitor number nine, who had a fall on the cross-country course, is stable but has been transferred to Southmead Hospital for trauma scans and further investigation.

“The horse JL Dublin has returned to his stable and is comfortable.”

Solid xc day for the US. Three in the top 20, one just outside at 21st, one refusal, one retirement. Nowhere near the world class level of GBR, but a better day than the French and some valuable experience gained. Hope they all trot up sound tomorrow.

Where are the Japanese? Did they give up eventing after Tokyo?

When I counted on the fence analysis, it was 7 out of 17 as I noted in my post. The final total of six horse falls (Emily King’s was reclassified from earlier) and four rider falls out of 21 eliminations on XC. Still not most. You need to have more than half to be classified as “Most”. I haven’t seen the video so I can’t comment on the quality of the falls. To be fair and honest, I did not count in the rider that fell off in a galloping lane as that has nothing to do with course design or jumps.

Are you looking at different results?

Tami is sitting in 15th, Ariel at 24, Phillip at 25 and Will at 35. Still awesome, but not 2 in top 20?

I have a feeling that a lot of that was on purpose. It’s a big year for a lot of these horses and why burn the tank or risk injury when it’s just as good experience to get out and run that course clear.

Yeah that’s the right leaderboard, no US higher than Tami.

Far from civilisation ? Stonehenge is 27 miles from Bath, 87 miles from London, 38 miles from Bristol, 9 miles from Salisbury

Doesn’t seem worth the expense. The US would do better if they invested in their young riders, from ponies through the levels, providing them with everything they need to succeed In these World Class events.

GB is smaller than many States in the US. There is nowhere far from civilization.
