Just posted some new photos of Glowstick P:

He is now three months old and as sweet as ever :D!

Just seeing your post now NaniLio and am going to send the photos of the Balou gelding to you that is in Holland showing 1.4m.

Here is another Balou, check out Balou Boy a 4 year old black stallion by Balou du Rouet currently in Germany and owned by a super talanted rider in Canada.

Here is some video just posted, he looks like he is so much fun to ride, he is just playing with these jumps:

Enjoy!

God, he’s lovely as well! He looks so light and agile, as well as a total blast to ride. Where’s the drooling icon?

Check out this 7 year old Balou x Pilot in Holland, love him as well very rideable.

Here is another video, love this horse.

the hind end power Balou puts on them is straight up ridiculous! I’m pretty sure I have one of the few hunter Balou’s…most seem to be geared to the jumper ring, but I still think he’s pretty special

Here is my 2011 Balou filly
out of a very successful (z2 level in Holland)-jumper mare /Indoctro Ahorn
She is only 5 days old and has a superb canter.

The thing I like about every Balou I’ve seen going U/S is they just make the O/F work look SO effortless! Like it’s nothing to them, and they’re so graceful. I LOVE that quality.

Horsechick, I adore Amazing, he looks great!!

Here’s our 2011 colt, turns two months tomorrow:

Bodega Bay by Balou du Rouet o/o EM Francesca:

He’s incredibly athletic, knows exactly where his feet and balance are at all times. And he’s a charmer with people. Tried to breed mom back, but she didn’t take…

Just moving this back up to see if anyone else has video of Balou offspring they can share, thanks!

Here is our first Balou foal, Balou Hawaii. The video was taken a couple months ago (she’s 2 months approx in the video).

I’ll try to upload the others I have soon.

Sylvan Farm - I’m jealous of your Bodega Bay (LOVE the name!) colt. I was secretly wishing for a belly spot  He’s lovely!

Here’s a few vids of my yearling Baloumerang…

1st one I put him in the arena to goof around during some bad weather and he jumped some flower boxes on his own! lol
2nd one I’m reluctant to share… since he is going through a SUPER awkward yearling phase… but you can still see him move!

Also - I was grooming him the other day and noticed that he is roaning out all over his flanks!!!

love my balou!

I LOVE all of the Balou’s. It makes me want to kick myself when I bred my mare to him and she did not take on her first maiden try. I KNEW!!! it was a gambel but did it anyway. Oh well, maybe one day I will own a Balou foal  (sympathy cry when I knew better than to do frozen!)

Cayoubridgou - Is your a Balou a keeper for yourself? You must be so proud of him

I made a very quick video of our 5mo Balou Filly, Balou Hawaii (Kono) yesterday. Pardon the super ghetto caution tape jump chute

I’m expecting a Balou du Rouet grandson next year, does that count? Banderas is the sire. Banderas’ jump is so effortless and easy - Just kinda snaps those knees up there and pops over it like it’s a piece of pie. Then stands waiting patiently at the end of the line for someone to collect him so he can run the chute again.

All your foals are making me want to breed my mare to him, if/when she merits a breeding! They are all TO DIE FOR!

All of these babies are GORGEOUS. I want a Balou baby very, very badly. Hunter, Jumper, I don’t care. They are all so incredibly athletic!
