Re bolded: Are you saying that the phenomenon of flagging-to-get-people-banned happens, it’s just not Eggbutt who orchestrates it?
Eggbutt mentioned that sometimes flagging was used to “get people banned”. She did not say that she herself was engaging in the practice, you’re right.
If someone (Eggbutt or someone else) is PMing, then those of us not in the PM loop won’t know who is sending the PMs.
However, Eggbutt is the team leader and until recently started the threads and was most prolific poster, so if that phenomenon does occur, targeting posters Eggbutt disagrees with, then, yeah, I would put Eggbutt as a likely suspect for coordinating things. But I admit I have no way of knowing who is PMing who. Only the mods or the people receiving the PMs would know.
