Definitely it would take a bunch of time. Probably twice as long as the criminal trial, since a lot more testimony and evidence would presumably be allowed due to different standards for what is relevant. I would bet it would be a month long ordeal.
The defense attorney needed no help making Lauren look bad. She has succeeded very nicely in making herself look bad.
People watching the YouTube videos of the trial, who have nothing to do with the horse world, are seeing how Lauren and RG behaved, and realize that Michael Barisone was the victim of an insidious plot to ruin his life.
You might not like the facts @Seeker1, but that does not change them.
An insidious plot was one of the “fictious stories” told by the defense attorney. There was never such a plot. The “plan” referred to getting Lauren to a much higher level in her dressage efforts. There was also a “plan” to help Michael fix up the house so people could live there. Michael’s lack of resources to repair the house and provide adequate living accommodations was no fault of Laurens. That was solely on him. the only plot that I know of was the one to relieve Lauren of life.
By the way, Lauren has not done herself any favors since the trial. Unhinged ranting on social media and replying to her own comments to attempt to stir things up just make her look even worse.
You know why your precious Lauren threatened me?
Because I had the unmitigated gall to suggest she refrain from commenting on the posts about the situation here.
The reason I suggested that- because common sense tells you not to comment on a potential criminal issue that has not gone to trial yet.
Wake up and smell the coffee @Seeker1! You, nor your daughter, are based in reality, and that in itself causes HUGE issues.
Why do any of you even bother interacting with Seeker? It’s a total waste of your time.
Lauren doesn’t need anyone to “make her look bad” or “tell a story to make her look bad” she does it all on her own.
Someone can say you’re telling a “lie” all day long, but if they can’t prove otherwise then just because you don’t like the truth, that doesn’t make it a lie.
People that don’t understand the above by this point, probably never will.
If you want the thread to stay open, then continue with updates and some discussion on them, but going around in circles with the same character(s) often gets the thread closed (which sometimes is fine, tbh) and is a waste of time. I’m not telling you(g) what to do, I’m just stating my opinion on it. If this is how you want to spend your time, then go for it.
If you(g) think this case was won because a defense attorney told a good story then… it’s not that there wasn’t evidence (or lack thereof in some instances) and supporting witnesses, right Yes, defense attorneys have a job to do, but even if you look beyond that, this verdict wasn’t given based off of some fictional tale.
Re the actual update, I am glad that Barisone is getting more “freedoms” and access to things such as music, physical activity, clothes, etc. It should be good for him and should help his mind.
When I think about the last threat I received (via PM) I still find it both humorous and puzzling. It was totally bizarre. Especially because I actually spoke in LK’s favor on another thread (that triggered the PM) the way that managed to get twisted would’ve been impressive if it weren’t so…odd.
Yep. It really begs the question, why did LK and crew spazz out so bad and try so hard to discredit my statements about how RC and MB put the gun in the safe? That is exactly what RC testified to as for the purpose of asking for the gun and what happened, and where police found several of the pieces.
