Please look at the quote of yours that I was responding to. I answered your post mentioning MHG, because I was responding to your post asking why MHG would possibly be in danger.

My point is that if MB is fully sane and non delusional, there’s no danger. Not to LK; not to MHG. But if he’s released with incomplete rehab, and retains delusional behavior, it’s not predictable who might be at risk.

The only testimony as to MHG’s fear was that she was afraid of LK, RG, and specifically that she was afraid JK was going to kill her.

Her current medical issues and treatments are no ones business.

Be rest assured that every bit of her current medical issues and treatments will be on FULL DISPLAY and under complete investigation for any civil court case. Logic would dictate, Mrs MyHusbandIsAnAttorneyAndShouldKnowThis that full injury MUST be examined in order to assess any compensation and award. I’m shocked you don’t realize this.

Well, that’s not what the state psych said in his defense of why MB wasn’t delusional: it was all real and they were all afraid, and MHG told the police in her interview that she was afraid of JK.

Really? A video showing him calmly approaching a petite woman, chatting briefly with her and then pulling out a gun and shooting her twice in the chest would somehow establish that the man doing that was sane and rational? And override the conclusions of the experts who evaluated him clinically?

That literally never occurred to me. I think if I saw an actual video of it, it would underscore the utter insanity of such a thing.

I think it would be useful wrt to whether he did or didn’t aim for RGs head, but even there, the implications of 4 counts of NGRI is the same as for 2 counts of NGRI.

I was addressing a hypothetical posed by VHM in which the video cameras showed exactly what LK/prosecutor claimed. VHM thought that if the actions claimed by LK/prosecutor had been captured on video, MB would be “in jail for life right now”. I just don’t understand her reasoning; I think the consequences for MB would be exactly the same (under the hypothetical).

If I were her, or anyone involved in this case, I wouldn’t allow filming at my home. There are too many crazies out there who would scour the footage for any identifying details and figure out exactly where I lived. No thanks.

That may be true, but it seems like it’s already quite easy for anyone to figure out where she lives. Haven’t people here on the BB already identified her address in Loxahatchee?

I’m not saying anyone should post the address here, at all. Just pointing out that it seems like people have already figured it out from information that is readily available online if you know where to look.

If LK was that worried she would have never bought a house so close to his. So I can only assume she bought a house so close to his for another reason, but it sure wasn’t “worry”.

But, but, but it is what she wants to believe because that is what they want her to believe. Her mind must conveniently dismiss anything she can’t cope with. I can’t believe her family is not helping this woman, but heck, they haven’t helped the daughter except enabling her every action. How scary there are probably many more families like this around just waiting.

Yes and RG himself testified that MB was calm, rational and pleasant when he arrived at his farmhouse, apparently until a dog and large man and skinny woman with a cell phone attacked him.

How would RG know from looking at MB for one minute that MB was “rational”? Perhaps he said that MB appeared calm, and rational?

There is no evidence that RG, LK, and the dog attacked MB before he started shooting.

If the shooting happened the way LK/RG said it did and the dog was in the house, at what point did someone let the dog out? LK testified to doing her spinnies, RG testified to do an Ironman leap faster than a speeding bullet but then somehow the dog was biting MB.

Even if convicted MB wouldn’t be going away for a very long time. He already had almost 3 years in and attempted murder isn’t murder so conceivably maybe just 10 years.
