Which came first-the chicken or the egg? LK usually responds to other people’s posts and has even apologized for mistakenly responding to the wrong person. There were nasty posts about her when she was in an induced coma in the hospital.
Afterwards there was speculation as to the severity of her injuries, who shot her, the imaginary Facebook post about Rugers, etc.
I think she should consider the source and ignore the nasty posts.
Maybe we should start a Barisone Bingo for every time someone insults LK, uses a mental health diagnostic term, insults her family, RG, posts screen shots of comments on other SM, etc.
This was a good thread for a while on the civil case aspects. Wish I had side bets for how long it would stay that way.
Again, please use the ignore function or history will repeat itself. What could be an interesting thread about a civil trial will turn into yet another rehash of the criminal trial.
Lauren came first. I never posted anything remotely threatening to her! Nor did anyone else here, or they would have been banned just like her.
You can post about what she has said or done, but here is a reality check for you- she supposedly did not even know she was NOT medi-vacced from the scene after the shooting! She kept that falsehood running as long as she could get mileage out of it.
Do you honestly believe she did not deserve to be questioned when she couldn’t even tell the truth about that? If there is one thing that has been proven, it is Lauren and the truth are not intimately aquatinted!
If she told me the sky were blue, I would want it scientifically verified before I believed it.
I was thinking about something after binge watching Law & Order.
In the episode police came to the scene of a shooting. One gunshot victim was down but alive and the police broke up ongoing fights with other parties, two on one side three on the other. One side - the side with a man down - claimed victim status, they were jumped.
The police responded by putting all the people into custody and detaining them. The injured party was hospitalized but also considered a suspect.
Long story short it ended up that the people who had claimed to be the recipient of the assault actually initiated it and assaulted the other parties and were subsequently charged with attempted murder due to weapons found and other evidence.
It struck me how differently similar cases are handled and made me wonder if MB now might have a renewed claim against the police in his case with a new civil suit. What if he was the one actually jumped and that will never come to light given the questionable investigation that was done by police?
She was on pain meds and in an induced coma after nearly dying from MB shooting her twice in the chest, nearly bleeding out until a thoracic surgeon was called in to stop the bleeding, and having her stomach slit open from stem to stern to allow her organs to swell so she could breathe. With the trauma and the meds and coma, I can’t imagine her nightmares and her inability to remember correctly.
Add to that her admitted prior use of opioids and heroin and being in recovery, yeah, lost memories, emotional distress, etc.
Blaming her for his mental issues and taunting her and her family aren’t helping either of them move on.
Based on all the accounts of LK before she was shot, and her public behaviour since, it doesn’t appear she has changed at all, or that her behaviour now is related to the trauma she suffered.
I’ve put several people on ignore, but today I’m adding the one here who insists on quoting miles long posts in order to respond, rather than paring them down to the relevant parts, like everyone else is able to do.
The major difference now is she is now known for threats and poor behavior because of these threads and the trial/verdict. It is LK who keeps all the negativity alive. Everyone else is simply waiting for Barisone to be released to resume his life. Personally, I am interested in the outcome of the civil trials and the USEF investigation purely for interests sake.
For the record, I’ve been accused of being obsessed with LK. If that were true I would have jumped on the YT chats to engage her bully tactics. She is irrelevant other than the continued damage she and her people inflict on others. My goal was satisfied with so many seeing the real Lauren Kanarek several of us have known over the years.
Prevailing side. I suspect that the person who has already lost & lost in the court of public opinion doesn’t have any assets that they can be ordered to dissolve & cough up. So the civil suit being pursued & not settled is to make very public the plaintiff’s very dirty laundry. I wonder if said revelations would be enough for USEF to ban that plaintiff (L).
I agree with you that the verdict itself will be priceless to the victor. That being said, a judgment is valid in NJ for 20 years and can be renewed for 20 years. 40 years of that hanging over the losing side’s head, where liens, levies, etc could come at any time would be stressful. They could try to discharge it in bankruptcy, forcing the other side to spend more money on legal fees, and that would suck for everyone. Civil suits are just so messy.
What if one party (not their attorney) were to drop the suit but take all 39000 pages of evidence they were provided (and counting) and simply post it for the public to see? Anyone can have a blog and advertise it as long as they pay for said advertising. Presuming nothing sealed by the court.
They are far enough in to it that all the parties would have to agree to walk away at this point. If all of them can come to that agreement without a non-disclosure agreement in the mix, that would be a blog I would read.
