Do you agree with the ridiculous assertion made yesterday by I forget who (maybe DreadPirateRoberts) that if someone chooses to post here any details of their life become “ fair game”? I sure don’t.

Such an idea is rather unfair to posters who have voluntarily chosen to disclose their identity, like LK, Seeker and Eggbutt.

I don’t think all details of someone’s life become fair game just because they post here, and reveal their real life identity. I’m with you on that.

But @Seeker1 says she is posting here to debunk rumors. I’m giving her a specific opportunity to do so.

For the record… it’s ok if she continues to politely tell me something along the lines of GFY. She is under no obligation to debunk any of the various rumors that have circulated about her family members for the last few years.

Virginia_Horse_Mom. Lets review… my purpose for being here is:

1. To debunk rumors stated as fact.
2. To tell the side of the story that wasn’t mentioned in the criminal trial or was mentioned erroneously.

My purpose for being here is NOT:

1a. To give anyone here any information whatsoever that is NONE of your business.
2a. To satisfy anyone’s curiosity

If you are asking me questions pertaining to 1a or 2a, there will be no response.

OK. I totally can appreciate where you are coming from.

I do not think you have ANY obligation to satisfy my curiosity.

I will note, however, that, you seem a bit excessively defensive to what presumably is a random, and innocuous inquiry.

If you were to ask me as to whether or not anyone in my family had ever had any involvement in the movie production industry, I would simply reply, “Nope. Not that industry. A few others, but not that one.”

Such a question wouldn’t make me feel particularly defensive.

I think her point was to draw a line between issues pertinent to the shooting and purely personal questions. It may have been innocuous, but it was personal and not pertinent to the shooting.

I just don’t buy that he was refraining from evicting her out of kindness to protect her future options in the sport. He went to considerable effort to attempt to get her a lifetime ban.

The sheer number of baseless, cruel and totally false accusations is astounding. I dont care to debunk harmless rumors to satisfy the sick curiosity of people who have been cruel to my family and me. To clarify…i want to debunk damaging rumors that hurt us. Like when someone said lk pushed mb over the edge. The information i have provided shows how many factors pushed him over the edge and he was inches away from the cliff long long before lk came along.

There has been no evidence that KK was a part of anything except support at horse shows and her own SM posts of cooking brunch. JK hired ED to negotiate LK’s exit from the farm and they were both overseas for the end. Great imagination but way off the mark that they were involved in any tit for tat at this point. The father did not testify in the criminal proceedings.

Then why did she stay? People inches from the cliff engage in behavior that shows very clearly that they are inches from the cliff. And for a long time you say, before LK even……so ample opportunity to have jumped ship and found a new place.

It was a Christmas house party lol. I showed up a day early. When I pulled up the host was in her pjs taking out the days trash. We (my husband and I) were fully dressed for a Christmas party complete with gifts for everyone. we ending up going out to dinner and went back the next day. Lol. Very embarrassing

Not at all. What on earth do you think I am “deriving enjoyment” from? Kindly explain. Also, show me the mountain of smoofox posts where I have raged, ranted, insulted, sneered, threatened, YELLED and so on and so forth.

I am not engaging in “hurtful and cruel behavior” - how so? I have repeatedly noted to LK throughout these threads (as have others) that posting here (or in all the other SM places where she has indulged herself), ranting, raging, insulting, threatening and carrying on as she was doing was not helping her case in any way. And … it hasn’t.

Posting in these threads on a very insignificant forum is not cruel and hurtful behavior when you (g) are discussing a public case and not engaging in the very behavior that LK appears to relish and savor. I find that to be very sad… and alarming. I am not LaLaPopRider.

Your posts in these threads are not helping as you insist… IMO they are also damaging your civil case and perhaps not having the effect you were intending… not in any way. Just something to consider… and I mean that kindly.

She did not know as mb and mhg were talking about her and not to her. No one ever told her/us that he was borderline insane/onbefore she came along. However a reliable source did apologize to me and lk for not telling us. This person apologized profusely and felt horrible since she felt she herself was lucky to get away from him unscathed /alive. He was millimeters from the edge of the precipice for years.

He had managed perfectly well, seeking supports when needed, and running thriving top level businesses.

Oh, yes, where was she at the trial? LK and IM made several references to her testifying, yet when the plea deal fell through and it was confirmed to be going to trial, that poster spazzed and deleted everything and said they specifically did not want anything to do with it.

I want to clarify that, in my post, when I say the other side, I mean people directly involved (MB, MHG, RC, JH - really all the barn staff and fellow boarders) have maintained a dignified silence that has served them very well in the trial, will continue to serve them well in the upcoming trial, and speaks highly of their individual characters.

You are objecting to behaviour of random users of this forum or YouTube or facebook. Those people are not what I would consider the other side. I consider them - including all posting here - mere onlookers.

The parties to the trial on the other side have absolutely remained wisely and absolutely silent on social media.

Edit to clarify: I was wrong to say ‘all posting here’ are onlookers; I recognise that you and your daughter also post here (past tense for your daughter) and on YouTube, and LK and RG post on many of the other SM platforms as well.

MB is obviously not allowed to post anywhere.

How would you know that none of the anonymous posters posting on this forum over the last three years are former boarders or barn staff? Does that even seem likely? That a shocking shooting occurs at their barn and they refrain from entering the SM discussion?

Eggbutt has shown time and again that she receives information from someone close to the principals.

So no, MB, MHG, RC and JH have refrained from posting publicly under the own names. They look dignified.

Any of those other than Barisone, and any former boarders, working students, friends, etc could post anonymously, or post via their “delegates”.

She did not want to be subjected to this nonsense and i support her 100% as she is a wonderful person. She has posted here in the past and was asked to testify at the trial. She declined and we didn’t push it because enough people have already been damaged in the industry by the people here. Another supporter came forward and may appear on 48 hours. I hope she does…but i wouldnt wish what has happened on this forum to our family on any person much less a friend.
