That was a direct declaration by LK’s mother (self identified) that someone who cares about MB should be feel happy he is in a maximum security mental health institution because at least ‘he is surely safe now.’ The implication that he will not necessarily be ‘surely safe’ once released is clear. And chilling.

Is it? I interpreted it as he’s safe because he’s in a secure institution getting the mental health help he needs. I’m no fan of the Kanareks but I think people are really reaching to interpret that as a threat.

Good threats are ambiguous. Since they can be interpreted to have either sinister or benign intention they are very useful in such intended actions as gaslighting.

Look for patterns. That’s the tell.

Interesting how you declare yourself the expert on threats.

This is Seekers immediate response to the post by Eggbutt I just reposted above. In response to Eggbutt’s nasty assertion that she somehow knows that LK will “torment” MB when MB returns to Florida, Seeker1 points out the obvious and says that he’s “safe now”, alluding to the fact that he is in a maximum security psychiatric facility.

Is this what FitzE has interpreted as a “direct threat”? That’s ridiculous.

That someone would alert Bilinkas or AK about the above remark is hilarious.

Sure MB is safe NOW but what about when he is released from the maximum security psychiatric facility? Will the person who intentionally bought property near his leave him alone? Or will she try to FINISH THE BASTARD.

You are a little confused today. He turned out to be the dangerous one that no one saw coming. He shot her.

Remember back when Bilinkas was cross examining LK, and asked where her father got the money from that funded her riding, and she replied “the bank?”

I seem to recollect Judge Taylor directing Bilinkas to move along with his questions at that point. Taylor sounded exasperated with the whole trial. He sounded that way much of the time.

Yes, Taylor was not going to allow the source of the funds to be discussed because he felt it had no bearing on MB’s state of mind prior to the shooting. But he was so adamant about shutting it down that my theory is that he was afraid the information would prejudice the jury against LK.

I meant to quote this a few hours ago, and add it to the general discussion because:

A. I found it amusing…

B. I think sometimes we all can get a little paranoid on these threads, and begin to believe certain posters are coordinating behind the scenes to launch attacks or push an agenda.

With respect to B… if Hut-Ho was really a K family insider… I have a sneaking suspicion that they would NOT have quoted this exchange between Seeker and I.

If they are a K insider and did it accidentally, my guess is that if Seeker noticed, she would be upset. Because Seeker seems to be VERY uncomfortable each time I say anything about this whole thing…

I wonder if anyone will ask any questions about specific industries during discovery? I will say a prayer for Seeker, because that might get a little uncomfortable and stressful for her. Sooner or later, many things will be revealed.
