This is a sincere post to @CurrentlyHorseless, @hut-ho78 and @Seeker1 - you three are swimming upstream on these Barisone related threads. You aren’t going to change anyone’s mind at this point in time. LK herself, along with her companion, showed those who originally gave her the benefit of the doubt her unreliability and caused them to question over two years of support for a victim. It seems most discovered who the true victims were in this mess. Please don’t do the, oh my but, but, but she was shot - everyone knows she was shot. Only you three believe her version of events.

Yes, your mission is and always has been to get Barisone threads closed so the truth stops. Closing threads definitely doesn’t change the truth or prevent discussion.

Honestly, you stand a better chance of swaying opinions by posting on the YT chats, I honestly don’t have a clue.

It was LK herself who delighted in going back many, many, many years to learn my identity and out me, or maybe it was a friend with a smash phone sending her that valuable screen shot. Fascinating, isn’t it?

I completely agree except most of us probably don’t spend much time trolling the YouTube trial chats. It is shocking, to me at least, that a month after the verdict LK was still remaining the center of attention posting on her testimony videos. It is concerning for sure. I honestly wonder who should be in the psych hospital.

The shooter, the same guy who got NGRI because if it had not been proven he shot her beyond a reasonable doubt it would have been NG.

May he recover and rebuild his life and may she get continue riding and improving.

I appreciate your legal opinion that the finding of legal insanity may absolve his civil liability in somewhat the same way it absolved his criminal liability. That has been a major question to me.

Re the NG on attempted murder of RG, I believe the prosecution’s contention that he shot at RG, but given that no third casing was recovered no bullet actually struck RG, if I had been on the jury I would have found similarly, that the prosecution’s case was not established beyond a reasonable doubt. Even the prosecution itself foreshadowed that finding by the jury by dropping the attempted murder count wrt RG in the plea deal they offered.

I also completely agree that there are major differences on “what matters” in the civil case vs the criminal case. That’s why I think the fact that Barisone did not actually ask her to leave prior to Aug 5 matters for the civil trial. He had abundant opportunity to avoid her harassment by handing her a demand to vacate weeks earlier.

So, you think her dad negotiating an exit at the end of July, that she refused, is meaningless?

I’ll play your game with notice for a second. All things being the same, dueling SS reports, police calls, building inspectors, SM posts, surreptitious recordings, ninja appearances, etc all remain the same. Notice is delivered by email Aug 5th, and served Aug 6th, per trial testimony. All other facts remain the same, including CPS showing up.

If the shooting never happened, what do you envision the 30 day notice accomplishes? Do you think everyone’s going to sit around a camp fire toasting marshmallows and singing Kum Ba Yah for 29 days and then LK and RG pack up on day 30 and get out, because now she has that piece of paper in her hands that is more significant than even her own father’s actions?

Or, version 2: the farm remains toxic for another 30 days. Possibly other clients leave, like the one who testified she was looking for a new barn already. MB’s got nowhere to freaking sleep short of getting an Air BnB while work can be done on the barn, ninjas keep popping up, recordings continue to happen, with private conversations still being posted on SM, etc…and on day 30 it all comes to an end, when again, that piece of paper makes her move?

Or, version 3: all of the above continues to happen, except she decides, what the heck, let him evict me. So now she and RG are dug in, while continuing their part in the toxicity at the farm. Day 31 - Mr Tarshis files eviction. Hearing is set for March 2020, because that’s about how long it takes to get an eviction hearing pre-COVID. Then COVID hits and courts are closed, and eviction moratoriums are enacted, and the nightmare grows worse and worse. How does that scenario end?

thank the police department for the NG…they never conducted any forensic. It is not even clear who the shooter is. Past the word of two admitted liars and drug users.

Because her behavior has been allowed all her life without repercussions. She’s been led to believe she is right OR she can get out of anything. I call that a combination of personality traits and enabling parenting.

Not about the trial. That is your personal bias.

The horses don’t care as long as there is turnout, but one can ride without a trainer session ya’know.

If she loved it that much and is now not riding, I think that speaks volumes to loving the lifestyle, not the rides. I think that is sad .

I don’t think anyone has any idea what she’s doing other than posting on YouTube chats and reliving the trial. That said, I don’t know anyone who is actively trying to figure out what she’s doing either.

Except when you are telling us all the latest you heard from your so called sources. @eggbutt has said that she heard LK is not longer riding and the substitute trainer while the main trainer was out of country recently quit.

Not sure, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she voluntarily quit riding to further her argument that she is being discriminated against and that she is suffering from a lack of riding to help her case.

Considering all the holes in her core and her collapsed lung and destroyed breast and implant and ribs being split to clamp the aortic artery plus the being sliced open through all the abdominal muscles so her organs had room to swell so she could breathe, it may be she is in physical therapy to stretch out scar tissue.

You don’t know how/why/if/when she quit. Do you? You’re merely guessing along with others. Why is what you say anymore valid?

She did suffer injuries, but from what was said in previous threads by other posters and LK herself, she was riding and getting along quite ok. Who knows why she did or didn’t stop. Who really cares, tbh.
