FWIW about the timeline and her court testimony about becoming addicted, her car crash was in November of 1998, she left for Hollins about a year later, then apparently left Hollins after about a year or so, moving to NC for several years, during which she got married/divorced and in a lot of trouble, and then popped back up to NJ with RG, before moving back to NC with RG, where she stayed until moving in with MB in NJ.

This timeline is interesting. I wonder when the banning from the family home occurred? It is still shocking she was relegated to a hotel after being discharged rather to her parents or even a sister’s home to recuperate particularly with RG’s mangled hand. I guess we do things differently in the South. We Southerners like to pamper patients.

That is incorrect. LK’s injuries were belittled for years and even after the testimony of the thoracic surgeon. That is why I started and continue to list them.

BS. Nobody has belittled her injuries or minimized how serious it is to be shot. People have questioned her false claims, such as being airlifted in a helicopter (and coding in the helicopter, Inthink?), being shot three times, or being in a coma for 3 weeks when her total hospital stay was only 19 days.

But nobody that I recall ever belittled the actual injuries. Since you recall differently, could you please post examples of such posts? They should be easy for you to find since you say they occurred for years.

Back when I was a mere lurker, I remember one of earlier threads was abruptly closed by the mods in the midst of a shouting match between LK and Eggbutt. One of the last posts was Eggbutt shouting “I HOPE YOU GOT YOUR BOOB FIXED!”

After the surgeries to save her life, I suppose there must have been subsequent surgeries to repair the lung and replace the implant.

Does that qualify as belittling the seriousness of her injuries, or would you have interpreted having “I HOPE YOU GOT YOUR BOOB FIXED” on a public forum as a genuine conveying of good wishes? Good wishes from Eggbutt, no less?

Maybe it’s been cleaned up and deleted. It made quite an impression on me at the time.

I believe that she had a charge for failing to replace her NC license with an NJ one, so that date might give an idea of when it happened. I think she was likely banned after they found out what she was really up to in NC - being an addict and such - and had to cover it up, so she had to stay with RG’s family or someone else until they both moved back down to the rental in NC.

I honestly don’t believe a word you or hut-ho say. You both have no problem asserting your opinions as fact and that’s been established multiple times in multiple threads. Your attempts to assassinate EB’s character is quite similar to your previous attempts of damaging MHG’s character and if I recall correctly, you even brought MHG’s husband into the discussion with an alleged bad check. Talk about an agenda. Maybe you should just let it go.

Yes, I believe some now wonder who was the actual victim and who was the attacker. More and more it seems larger holes are being punched into the testimony of LK and RG. Too much does not add up for many. Personally I believe any “luring” that took place was LK luring MB to a spot easier for RG and the dog to attack him. But, of course the trial is over and verdict rendered. There will always be too many questions.

Barisone chose not to testify at the criminal trial, as was his right. According to Ekat, while he could decline to testify at the civil trial, jurors will be allowed to hold his refusal to testify against him.

Even if the amnesia during the time of the actual shooting is real, there is a lot he can be examined on with respect to the weeks prior to the shooting, when no amnesia has been claimed.

Assuming the amnesia was real, why do you imagine Barisone elected not to testify, Eggbutt? There’s a lot more that may come out in the civil trial, as it seems likely Barisone will need to testify.

That’s going to be up to the judge. On a personal level, I hope so. I also can see, based on views of the criminal trial, that Law & Crime might have some interest in doing so, and may ask permission.
