All one needs to do is read them, logically remove the BS, pay close attention to intelligent posts and legal links and you will know more than you think you do. Almost as if you were there.

At one point while their divorce was being settled but not while LK/RG lived there I believe.

The cease and desist order I was referring to was for an unlicensed person advertising re-modeling or building services. It had nothing to do with evictions.
If you complain to the local authorities here, about an unlicensed “contractor” advertising their services, they do indeed send a cease and desist letter, pronto.

You know, you are right, and somehow I was thinking about evictions, or behaviour on his property, and not thinking about the contractor part, when I said that. I was thinking of how they wouldn’t leave, and were harrassing the family and all that, when I was talking about “cease and desist”. But of course, you are right, cease and desist orders are something along the lines of “stop work” and certainly the town has people to do just that, inspectors and such like. I was thinking of those acting out, I think when I was talking about it, not the contracting work.

No the ENTIRE house had the eviction notice. It was not condemned in that it needed to be knocked down, just brought up to code.

In NJ do they not immediately remove everyone?

We need a Cliff Notes for these threads for those who haven’t read them all or have forgotten.

MB’s house was split into apartments. A main apartment for him, MH and her children; another one for LK/RG and, a basement area for other trainers/visitors. A community kitchen, dining and sitting room was on the first floor if I recall correctly.

I didn’t realize. I thought that they all lived communally, and “drove” MB and MH out by sort of taking over. Do you know why MB and MH moved into the stables, then? Was it because the house was uninhabitable?

If the pipes froze and burst in January 2019, while everyone was in Florida, I don’t see how any of them could have caused the damage.

Once the damage is done, though, there is scope for insurance fraud by saying more damage was done that actually was done.

So you too, like Kanarek, are saying that there was insurance fraud? If not, why bring something like that up? Sheesh. You are a piece of work.

It was to get the heck away from LK/RG and keep the horses and property safe!!!

Landlords reporting it to the police, landlords reporting it to the fire marshall, and eventually the fire marshall requesting arrest warrants, maybe? I don’t know. It was probably escalating to that, maybe MB was trying to tackle it by going to eviction court, but maybe he should have gone to the fire mashall. However, we don’t know that he DIDN’T go to the fire marshall, or whoever ordered the people to leave.

We do know from the 911 calls that he called the police alot, repeatedly, and they were of the resposne that it was a civil matter best dealt with in court. The harrassment they tried to deal with by coming out, but the eviction and continued presence of the squatters they said was civil. So maybe MB wasn’t clear about how best to keep them out, himself, and who to call. He might have been calling the police.

Imagine the situation…you have a girlfriend becoming very impatient that the squatters won’t leave their home, scared, distressed boarders, one boarder sleeping outside her horse’s stall with a handgun for protection, worried employees, a harassing and out of control woman and her boyfriend who refuse to leave your facility posting all sorts of BS on SM, police don’t do anything, private investigators are working, completely physically exhausted, lawyers are working, and one man is trying to handle it all. Toss in CPS and BOOM!!! It all goes to hell in a handbasket emotionally.

It is patently absurd to suggest that someone couldn’t commit insurance fraud from afar. She was obviously suggesting that he had someone tamper with the pipes while he himself was safely out of state. The goal being a big insurance settlement to help him keep MH in the style she was demanding.

Not saying any of it is true or even believable, but it was obviously the point of the accusation.

Yes MB & MH were in the barn for at least a week, maybe more, before the Fire Marshall was called out.
