This morning I read an article about how backed up places are for people who can’t stand trial due to needing mental health assessments. It made me think of Barisone, and how the people who won’t let him go are contributing to the back log. The WSJ seems really invested so maybe that’s a route to take.

Scratching my head…how can Barisone acknowledge something he doesn’t remember he did? And lack of forensics surely did not prove he did what they want him to acknowledge or say he did.

By being informed by his lawyers, his genuine supporters, and his doctors what the outcome of the trial was.

Are his lawyers (and LO) being honest with him and telling him the hard truth that he shot LK?

If someone is found NGRI and it is found that they are bi-polar, then according to CH that person will never be release.

Why because there is no cure for bipolar disorder.

CH your logic and interpretation is flawed, sorry do not pass go, do not collect two hundred dollars, but you can start going counter clockwise in the round pen.

The criterion for release of a NGRI committee is not “not dangerous”. It’s that the mental defect is cured.

I read along on this thread, and the others, from time to time. I have no idea who you are, how you found COTH, or whether you have any actual interest or investment in the dressage world.

What is clear is that you consistently post information that bears little or no resemblance to reality. I cannot even fathom where you dig this stuff up, let alone that you feel compelled to post it. I’m truly sorry that the people on here who are both invested in this world, and able to post competently as regards the facts, continue to respond to you.

Clearly, there are many forms of mental defects out there. We bear witness to them in the here and now. Whether or not they are curable depends largely on acknowledgement and understanding of the issue. Absent that, we will continue to see examples of these “defects” right here.
