Someone yesterday mentioned a Bilinkis case was the subject of a Dateline episode…is that the vertitas case, and anyone know what that Dateline episode is called?
I don’t know about the Dateline episode, but per the note I wrote when it was posted before the 48 hours episode on that case is from Season 30 and is called Moment of Truth.
It is interesting these same fangirls also can’t see the major discrepancies in LK’s and RG’s testimonies, yet these two DO supposedly remember in minute detail what happened…unless it paints them in a negative light then they can’t recall. Look at it this way, someone, somewhere has got to defend LK, right?
I think an objective look at LK’s riding is relevant to the question. We know she was a first level ammie new to dressage after previous time riding hunter or jumpers. She was willing to dump a very large sum of money on upper level schoolmaster to ride lower level tests. Her work ethic was significantly compromised by her drug addiction, whether active or suboxone. She was pushing 40.
This combination of circumstances makes her claims of being on a fast track to FEI or international competition obviously delusional.
I didn’t stick with the video because I couldn’t see detail on my phone but the comments here about tilted forward, twisted shoulder, no core strength, ring absolutely true to general observations of middle aged first level ammies stretching to try second. Additionally while very thin people look good in the saddle, if that thinness is not accompanied by a rigorous Pilates body regime, the very thin csn be weak and wifty. Often a more robust person has more muscle. Junkie skinny is not a recipe for athletic accomplishment in any sport.
So it sounds like she rides about how you’d expect. And given that there is still technically a civil suit open fro LK agsinst MB the question of how she rode then and if her riding suffered lasting damage is going to be important if they proceed with the civil suit.
So reaffirming that her riding always looked like this will possibly be very important.
If they are going by dates then I would imagine they will consider that Dr Simring testimony should be believed. I think Dr Hasson was hired after the states expert rendered his report. The defense would have full disclose remember the defense attorney was there when blowhard did his partial testing and diagnosis. Then Hassan was brought in… spent 3 x the time on testing, interviewing and diagnosis and spoke to Michaels therapist of 20 years.
