Well then stop doing those things. Easy fix! People will stop calling you out when you stop doing the things they’re calling you out for.
Other platforms would A) require you to make your identity more widely known. B) would probably not allow you to do what you’re doing here because it’s against their forum rules or against their TOS. And C) you wouldn’t be supported if you did it anywhere else. Go try this nonsense on horse Twitter, they would eat you alive. Try it on Reddit, and you’d be downvoted to hell and probably banned from the horse and true crime subreddits. I don’t keep up with the Facebook cesspit but I’m pretty sure even there this crap wouldn’t fly. You only do it here on coth because this is where the “Anti LK Bored People Who Cannot Play Nicely on the Internet Association” exists.

There are any number of reasons he might want to stay there in his own best interests. Reasons that are not weird at all, just unknown to us. There are things (financial and otherwise) that might be conditional on his incarceration. There is not having to pay rent and many very basic living expenses.
And, possibly the principal reason? is simply being out of the way of further accusations, say of stalking or harassment. Accusations that could be damaging to him (especially damaging to him at the trial) and hard to untangle for truth.
As we have no idea what his thinking is behind that request, there is a temptation to make up explanations based on our own background, whatever that is. But that exercise lacks any exposure to the reality of all factors of MB’s life right now.
In MB’s case the damage is thoroughly done on that score and can’t easily be reversed.
So what is a few more weeks/months? If he’s surviving it, if it isn’t unbearable, frankly incarceration is the safest place for him just now. No one can accuse him of doing anything outside of jail. And his basic necessities are being met, even if the lifestyle is greatly reduced.

I typed out a much bigger post. Do not know how I lost it but it said I read the COTH forums for education and entertainment.
I have learned much about the law - “do not answer without a lawyer was very educational”. Thank you EB, KM and others for providing factual info about this tragic shooting. It is a tragedy for all the victims.
IMHO opinion the US gun laws need to change. If the Kyle Rittenhouse shooting is self defense I do not know what isn’t.

Same in my neck of the woods. Here, hearing gunshots in rural areas is never unusual.
At my boarding barn it is common to hear shooting commencing at 9 am, because someone frequently practices in that timeframe. I’m sure they are being considerate by not starting before 9 am and waking late-sleeping neighbors.
