This is the dumbest thing I’ve heard today (calling the fire marshal instead of unplugging the dryer), and I work in IT services these days, so that’s saying something.

Maybe I’m wrong, but wasn’t she saying she was out there for night check at the point she was “overhearing” Cassandra tell RC about the dryer. LK was supposedly concerned that RC was asleep and did not hear Cassandra.

If any barn worker got that text about the dryer, guarantee they checked it out. No one wants a barn fire.
Maybe they didn’t respond to her but they checked it out.

Can we even be sure she knows how to use a dryer? It’s possible the dryer was on the no wrinkle setting which periodically tumbles the contents.

Maybe not but I assume she knows how to unplug. And I guess if she noticed it was on but not functioning, she probably knows how one works.
But she’d say “probably, possibly, I’m not sure, can you repeat the question.”
For someone who (on here) knew all dated and details, she doesn’t seem to know much on the stand.

That didn’t stop her from not following other rules in the barn. She doesn’t follow rules and her horses were supposedly in fire danger. It would not be surprising in those dire circumstances that she would ignore such an order.
