I do not know MB personally, but I enjoyed his “Dressage with Stephen Colbert” series, and reading about him in one COTH Blogger’s posts (he was her trainer).
The difference between him then and now is marked, and I don’t think this is acting. The tenseness/muscles around his face and eyes would be painful to hold intentionally in those positions for this length of time. His responses seem unscripted and genuine, even if unlikable by the jury.
I can also feel that he certainly feels guilt and remorse, regret for what happened, “if only I had done…” Even if he can’t remember the shooting itself, he must have some feelings about what led up to the event.

Yes, they can be recalled. JMO but it seems unlikely that JH would be asked back from FL just to confirm that he did not steal her phone and fabricate search history. I think it’s too implausible for anyone to bother with. Who knows though.

LK says she was never served with eviction complaint, other than something from a lawyer that wasn’t elaborated on here.
LK asked about 8/4/19 search on phone for exploding bullets. Objection, sidebar, question never answered.
8/7/19 incident between farrier and RG. Hearsay objection because LK was not present, question withdrawn.
Angry at MB on morning of shooting? Yes. “Did you ‘want that bastard finished?’” (Clearly a reference to a text or SM post.) Yes.
LK asked about altercation between LK and MB one morning (maybe the morning of shooting, maybe another morning? I may have missed the date) during which he backed away to his truck fearfully and tried to leave but she blocked the door. Line of questioning continued when objection overruled after sidebar. LK disputes this and Bilinkas shows her a group text with her, RG, and JK to refresh her recollection. “He came to my porch, got in my face, and tried to berate my but all it did was make me throw down my phone and stand in his face until my semi-rage had backed him all the way to his truck.” Says maybe either this is just what she texted them, or it happened; won’t commit to either. She does remember him coming to the house but says she doesn’t remember what she did, but if she did get in his face and make him go away, “that was my action.”

It’s kind of amazing to me the way she keeps flat out denying things when the defense lawyer is obviously holding the printed evidence in his hand, just waiting to show it to her to “refresh her memory.”
How many times would you do that before you realized it was just a pointless waste of time?

That seems to be her plan here. That she just says stuff/lies to get people to think/believe whatever she wants to project.
I don’t think that’s necessarily untrue in itself.

Did LK actually admit she was trying to destroy MHG and MB and their business? And WHY? I always assumed she would pass it off as being a joke, didn’t mean any harm.

Yeah, regarding the three phones, did you notice none of them had blood on them in the police photos. Didn’t she say she was so covered in blood that she had trouble dialing the phone?
