I could imagine the argument that the blood had been washed away in the heavy rainstorm that has been mentioned several times.
I believe the crime scene officer said that all the clothing on the scene was soaking wet by the time he recovered it.
Testimony about previous altercation ( when LK blocked MB leaving) only makes it seem even less likely/stupider for MB to drive down to house with a gun on him, and expect nothing would go wrong.
I missed the evidence part on the first day(s), but if this is the case, surely Bilinkas will bring that up at some point? But I also don’t see why she’d lie about this?
I think that no one can argue that all parties in this situation made a series of bad judgment calls.
It’s on the YouTube live feed.
The question I answered asked that if MB is found not guilty, can the prosecution try him again and the answer is NO and it will continue to be NO no matter how many times you indicate that you don’t believe this answer.
Or maybe it was more likely that he thought he needed a way to protect himself.
Which is not the same thing as saying it was a good decision, mind you.
Thanks.
I believe Taylor is quite frustrated by Kanarek. The state is in trouble. SHE appears to be the one with issues!
Speaking of photos - when they were talking about recordings yesterday, didn’t she say MB, MH, et al sat on a bench in front of her locker, which had the recorder in it, and that’s how she knew their plans? In the evidence picture I saw there were no benches in front of the lockers. Unless there are more lockers that did have benches in front of them.
I think he shot her, but I think the sequence of events that day and the events themselves as we have been led to believe are not at all accurate, and the true story is wildly different and more complicated than, LK came out of the house and got shot by MB then MB shot at RG. It’s really too bad we can’t get MB’s account of that day.
I am more talking about believability. It makes it seems MORE likely MB intended to do harm. If Blinkas is insisting LK has done this, then for MB to bring a gun indicates he went down there fully prepared/ intending to shoot. I don’t think the line of thought does MB any favors.
I’m wondering if she is intentionally acting this way on the witness stand - if her father coached her?
I believe they are inside the tack room across from the lockers, or the office beside them
I don’t think her knowing RC had a gun helps defense. JMO
Good point.
I wonder if we’re going to hear at what point MB had the alleged mental break-- after he went down there with a gun or before. Did he become “insane” and get the gun and THEN go down to the farmhouse? Or did that moment happen down there after he’d showed up with the gun?
If the latter, I’d think that it casts doubt on MB’s defense (?)
I believe Bilinkas is now at the point of questioning who actually had the gun.
Judge tells Bilinkas to stop reading from the transcript. It’s just there to refresh memory, not be read word for word.
They have an expert witness to testify on this so should be interesting.
