I’m starting to think of “Can you please go to page number…?” as the lawyer’s version of Columbo saying, “Just one more thing…”
I thought of this but, anyone who’s even got small spots of blood on clothes from a nose bleed or a child skinning their knee knows, it is really difficult to get blood stains out. If all you had to do was leave it in the rain for a bit and, hey presto, stain gone, I’d be a happy camper. I just cannot understand how that volume of blood we’ve been told was there would not leave a trace on the hoodie.
I don’t either. That’s why I cannot make it make sense.
He does seem to be losing patience with her. I think he’s noting how evasive she is with the ‘I don’t recall’ ‘maybe I did’ ‘it seems I did’, etc. and that’s why he made her initial and date her marks on that photo. He seems to be getting irritated with her.
Seems Taylor is also becoming frustrated at LK’s act/behavior.
I mean the whole dynamic is very messy. MB is supposed to be believed that he remembers nothing, but victim is supposed to remember everything? That antecedent arrangement is hard to parse as reasonable.
She’s lied about almost everything else for well over 2 years!!
Maybe it’s the real life version of taking a screenshot before the post is deleted.
I didn’t get that vibe at all.
Now Bilinkas getting in trouble for asking questions she already answered yesterday.
He’s stopping the questioning on that topic (how many shots fired)
QFP!
Yeah, where is the defense attorney getting his ideas if MB can’t remember?
I agree. MB would have been better to testify to self defense and victim not tesitfy imo lol
Honest question…you think LK is doing and has done a credible job testifying?
Maybe to protect himself against the dog who bit people previously.
If it was a fit of rage I would think he would have grabbed one of the shotguns and not the small 9mm
No. She has been a trainwreck.
Did he just accuse her of watching the YouTube replays?
You really can’t say what you would do, until you’re in that position.
Bilinkas getting told he is getting repetitious. Needs to move along.
So I have a theory about that line of questioning. Just my theory, based on how the questioning went down. I think that LK’s statement to the prosecutors said something along the lines of that she started hitting MB after she was shot or when she called 911 and continued until some other point in time, perhaps when she heard sirens or police arrived. Bilinkas has used dispatch records or the 911 call to estimate that time as 7 minutes. Because her statement doesn’t literally say “7 minutes,” the judge felt that him asking the question that was was not characterizing it fairly. Bilinkas could have reframed his questions to get at exactly when she started and stopped hitting him, but her responses are so muddled that it may not have come across strongly to the jury. He may try to get at that length of time a different way later.
I could have sworn I heard him say 7 minutes when he read the statement though
He was making it up that’s why the judge slapped his hand (figuratively speaking)
I’m with those who said that they always believed MB shot her and now I am not so sure!
It seems a little ridiculous that anyone who was just shot is going to think clearly, act clearly, or remember clearly what happened, and how many minutes it took. It’s not like we do scientific studies where we shoot people and then test what they can do in the following minutes
