For those of us that can’t watch the trial itself, can anyone summarize MHGs testimony and cross examination?

It’s currently on hold for a break, most of it has been going over the living arrangements and confirming photos of the office and tack room. Ill post the pics in a minute here.

Anyone else not hearing anything now?

It’s off because of discussion with the judge

It’s a Court Officer thing knowing they will be on film around the world. They are directed in their appearance and the C O. Picks special guys for that job.

The same with the other court staff. Have been personally part of that several times.

She basically explained what Dressage is, how the farm worked and who worked there, and gave information about bits and pieces relating to various things in and around the living area.

She was asked about the property and the generaly layout of the house. Then asked specific questions about the barn and clubhouse areas, including the office, where she and he both had desks, and identifying photos of horses, and quarter sheets, ad infinitem (sic). then she was shown a pic of a text message from february (forget the year) and Bilinkis asked if this was going to open up text messages in general, and the judge ordered a break for 20 mins to discuss that matter.

Still quite curious why MHG was called by the prosecutor

It’s a bit too cluttered for my taste, but it is the norm for such places.

It seemed a little odd to me that the prosecutor was acting so many questions about all the decorations in the lounge. Endless, repetitive questions about the furniture, the pictures on the wall, the coolers that had been won, the shadowboxes with ribbons and medals on display.

I can understand touching on it in passing, but I don’t understand why he was so interested in all the repetitive details of the decor.
