Barisone Trial Starting Monday, 3/28

So… you’re just making it up? Cause several people have assumed the text actually said that so it’s really important to not put words into someone’s mouths especially over something like that. If you’re going to post something like that and start all sorts of responses about how Barisone is a horse abuser and how it’s relevant to the case, then the least you could do was to not paraphrase. Or to make such an accusation and then tell people to go find out for themselves if you were telling the truth or not, when it appears you are not. Phrase and context is important.

This is why we need transcripts to go with the video.

Of course I don’t defend abuse, BUT I’ve never heard that he abused horses in reality, except from one poster on this forum who left and then went back. The abuse she said she saw sure must not have been abuse after all IMO.

And as someone else had already said, LK only wanted MB to train her horses.

Nobody was quick enough to write down an exact quote. All of the summaries that have been posted are more or less accurate. If you want it verbatim, it will be on YouTube for replay later.

ETA: I am not commenting on whether MB abuses horses. I don’t know the man and I have no idea. I am just reporting what the text messages say, as best I can.

are you for real?

Seriously? Stop policing my posts.

No one else is being told not to say anything about the trial unless they say it perfectly WORD FOR WORD. I never implied it was word for word. It was a casual reply summing up what was said. It was the gyst of the message. I am capable of summarizing something accurately. Just because you hate me doesn’t mean you should waste your time going after every single thing I post. Its boring as hell.

None of us have a transcript right now so none of us can 100% say what was said perfectly.

Thanks for your concern. Im sure the posters here are smart enough to figure out on their own what is happening

Wasn’t it said in opening statements that LK wanted someone else to ride her horses and MB said that person needed to sign a waiver? That’s what I was referring to.

My responding because I disagree with something you said doesn’t mean I’m policing your post, or that I hate you. You’re posting on a BB, as am I, back and forth is kind of part of it. You can’t assume or accuse that someone hates you because they are questioning something you said, or that they hate you if they disagree with you.

Thats not the reason. It’s a pattern. Happens constantly with you. You aren’t disagreeing with me, you are attacking me for no good reason and telling me how to post. I’m putting you on ignore so it doesn’t matter anymore. Bye bye

Ru roh. Sounds like he was actively trying to make it miserable for LK as well - instead of trying to just go the legal route.

So far MHG has not given the prosecution much evidence against MB IMO.

It’s cut off for me. I got no A/V from the stream and it’s frozen on the Prosecutor.

Mine cut too

Other than he, instead of going the legal eviction route, was trying to antagonize her into leaving - not a good look for a “man on the brink.”

I can venture a guess as to why you have not heard this. One, not every dressage rider is posting on COTH. Two, if people are still competing, they do not want to bad-mouth a trainer or burn bridges. I don’t ride anymore, but when I did I have witnessed more than 3 male trainers be abusive with horses. These people are still training and have admirers. Even now that I’m out of riding and showing, I’m not going to divulge what I know about some trainers.

Wait for the cross-examination. You’re only hearing one side.

Easy killer, I am not commiserating with an “LK can do no wrong” fan girl.

She is culpable in where this ended up. He didn’t start antagonizing her because she was the worlds best client. More is to come.

Trying to make someone miserable enough to leave is a very common way for those who’ve been in dysfunctional relationships to avoid Direct confrontation (example, evicting someone).
