LK’s father was a corporate attorney, reputed to be wealthy and socially connected enough to get what he wants, how he wants, from whomever he wants, and the many non-prosecuted local charges against the Kanarek family over the years reflect that, in that they have never really been held accountable for anything they got caught doing, so a legal battle was probably not something MB would have engaged in after doing some digging into them and getting an idea of the level of influence and protection they seem to have.

LOL water cooler cups. You can only drink water in courtrooms. I don’t drink water so with certain judges I’d have to hide my drink. Other judges couldn’t give a damn what their clerk drank.
