I was assuming that CPS would nevertheless investigate to determine their safety in the near further, if there was an ongoing shared custody arrangement.

MH would not still have shared custody if CPS found any issues.

Seems to support my earlier post nicely….she thinks she’s playing 3D chess, is 10 moves ahead, and is compelled to drop hints about what she was doing. That should make any jury acknowledge the reality of such an argument by the defense.

Interesting that you now think it was probably SS who called CPS. As I understand it both LK and MB filed reports with SS accusing the other of bullying and harassment. How tragic and ironic if the CPS visit which “triggered” MB was initiated in part by his own call to SS.

I would guess that the direction of the questions would indicate which “side” lead to the CPS visit.
That may have been why it was a last straw, if it in fact was. Because it was clear who made the bogus report, and there fire their intent was clear. Maybe their dedication to this was also made more clear by the visit as well. The idea that this was not going to end easily, without more mud slung about?

There are several of us who do not see any basis for calling the report to CPS “bogus”. Everyone on that farm was in danger. One person nearly died, and more people could have been injured or killed if RG had not subdued Barisone.

Keep in mind that it is Barisone’s civil lawyer who alleged there were other minors on the property who were threatened by RG.

There was a call to LE about this, and police responded and “investgated”

I realize we do not have the information on what the topic of the CPS call was about, but let us make up some movie themes like has been happening all along in this here thread.
What if the call to CPS about the kids had nothing to do with a gun or MB being unstable. What if the call to CPS was accusing MB of doing things that were not really happening?

I do wonder if there are ever any repercussions against people who make false claims to CPS? Does anyone know?

Yes, but if they were not present, particularly that day or near the only house on the property where the shooting happened, then the shooting did not put them in physical risk.
Perhaps that was part of why it blew up when it did… Because the kids were gone, but due back at some point? speculation

If Barisone was not making up that particular allegation against RG, doesn’t that imply that it was Barisone himself that called CPS? Or, again assuming it’s not just a made up allegation, perhaps Barisone in his concern for the working students delegated to RC or MHG to call CPS.

I don’t think Barisone called CPS. I’m pointing out that if the allegation of RG’s threatening minor students were true, he should have called CPS.

It’s clear that IM is a LK partisan of some sort. So what? I’ve checked everything he’s said against known facts, and have developed the belief that his statements are accurate. In several instances, he has dropped clues which are then validated in the official record.

I don’t believe IM because he is an LK partisan. I believe him because everything he has said checks out.

If there were an MB partisan who had the same impressive track record of having posted only statements that subsequently check out as accurate and verifiable, I’d believe them, too.
