Barisone Trial This Month

Yeah, ironic that Eggbutt’s big grievance is not that LK “refused to leave”, but instead that she wouldn’t move in!

And we believe this, why?

Wow. 45 seems a small number of potential jurors for a case like this. I’ve been in a jury pool of over a hundred for a jury in a much lesser case.

She was never extended an invitation to “move in”. At the time she did not have a rideable horse in NC and, there was a wait list at the facility we leased. Truth does matter.

My “big grievance” is much more involved and serious than your suggestion.

Well, you probably don’t believe it.

The post made clear that LK knew how tough the gun laws in NJ were. It’s logical that she would rationally choose not to bring guns to NJ, based on her knowledge of the severe criminal penalties, even if one does not actually shoot the guns.

So I believe it because it’s logical. Also because I don’t read her posts through a lens of white hot hatred.

Objection
Calls for conclusion based on facts not in evidence.

None of the parties involved showed any signs of logical or rational thinking.

I don’t care about the details of your big grievance. However, what’s transpired on the thread the last couple of days to the effect that there was a major SM and perhaps IRL dispute between you and LK prior to the shooting has greatly enlightened my understanding of these threads.

With respect to the actual case, it has been stated that in the final week or weeks, MB reached out to others with SM disputes with LK. I’m guessing someone put him in contact with GirlJoey. You? Were you involved in feeding him (or your friend of 20 years, MHG) dirt on LKs SM enemies?

Is that why you knew before everybody else who heard that a woman had been shot on a Long Valley horse farm, that the woman was LK?

And managed to include another party in the call too?

If this was me and DH I’d be sunk, he has his phone locked up, ya can’t dial without first putting in his code that’s a string of a whole mess of nonsense.

And I would assume that is after he pulls it out of his pocket. Because who is going to hold onto their phone while they try to subdue the person who is trying to shoot them and the love of their life…

I get the joke, but it was in fact logical of LK to refrain from bringing guns to NJ based on her knowledge of the gun laws there.

It was logical of me to conclude that LK did not have guns in NJ based on that post.

We don’t

LOL I once had a signature on the board that read, “She is not fragile like a flower; she is fragile like a bomb,” and LK wrote that it was threatening! When you’re a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

I’m sorry but you simply can not say how you will act in this situation until you are in it. You just can’t. So unless you have been, stop making assumptions based on how you think you not others would act.

She was on the phone with her attorney. He could have called 911 on a 3 way call. Both LK and her lawyer could have been recording the confrontation with MB through their phones.

Her lawyer then called her dad who also called 911. I don’t know the exact timeline. Her dad, the lawyer, 911, and LK may have all been linked through her phone from the initial call to her lawyer.

I don’t know the limits of calls on different types of phones, top of the line phone service on top of the line legal phones and recording while speaking with the client’s permission or without for a one party permission state for conference calls for legal matters. I think my personal phone can do at least 3 way and it’s not that fancy and my purchase phone service is for my personal use, not business.

LOL.

MB, as the shooter, is allowed to have PTSD, and LK as the gun shot victim who nearly died, is not.

That pretty much sums up all the threads.

Yep.

I am simply discussing possibilities, like the whole thread is.
You can offer up your possibilities too.

To me it seems illogical that while wresting a person that is trying to kill you with a gun, you would take the time to pause and remove your phone so someone else can make a call.
More power to those who can physically wrestle the 6’ plus person who has been described as a big man all while still able to get your phone tossed to the love of your life.
It just makes me think there is something missing from the story.

Exactly. In the much derided movie in my head, RG is a hero.

Can’t wait to see how it plays out in court.
Can’t wait to see how it plays out on TV.

Your movie and my movie seem to be slightly different.

I do not agree. LK may have PTSD, as well. But that isn’t an excuse for her behavior. Rather than running away and hiding in fear and loathing, she is out here firing off belligerent attacks privately, and publicly. One would tend to believe, if her metal health was in question, that all of the attorneys and family would have thought to rein her in by now.
