In the latest edition of USDF Connections magazine, there’s a nice update page 16.
Great article!
One thing only is minutely wrong but the article captures the essence of rising up again after adversity.
I’m glad he found LO and I’m glad she found him.
I wish them smooth sailing and success!
I wonder why there was no mention of Miss Kanarek’s current activities and whether she’s achieved her Silver Medal yet?
Possibly because it was an article about Barisone and not Kanarek. So why taint an otherwise great article?
Plus, who gives a fig about her
I’m not trying to be snarky here, that’s just my opinion.
Excellent point!
I would guess that the Netflix crew will investigate that.
Right, not the focus of the article. Other venues will address her failures.
Gladly so. She had her time with articles when it happened.
Great update.
Thanks for sharing it!
Thanks for this. I don’t get USDF Connections.
Thanks for posting this! Is this online anywhere that we can read it? Or is it just in the print version?
I have now heard this case profiled on at least 2 podcasts as well as 48 Hours. I don’t think it is leaving true-crime interest any time soon.
The details are so convoluted over such a prolonged period of time, no two accounts seem to agree on every point. Oh well, that’s to be expected I suppose.
But so far the podcasts looked more at the social media part of the story, and were sympathetic to Barisone.
That is because one side of the story does not know how to tell the truth.
It’s online for USDF members.
And the other was barely allowed to make their case.
Okay thanks. Bummer - I’m not a member.
I just read it right here on this thread, using my tablet. It would probably be too tiny on a phone.
Yes - I tried to zoom in on it but couldn’t see it all…
Thank you for this update @eggbutt
Wishing Michael and all his loved ones much future happiness and success.
My Android enlarged it enough for me to read, though last few lines in both columns faded.
Re: Netflix
AIW to think either The Maestro or that 2Raw wannabe should be written in?
C’mon, it’s Netflix, not a documentary
