I am so sorry you experienced what you did wrt your friend. But, in this trial, the defense was legit. They didn’t “switch” the victim. MB was a victim. In my estimation, he was the more abused, because I know what it’s like to be harassed and bullied and hated on and scorned and screamed at until you may not survive. Some don’t.
I get it. You think physical harm outweighs mental torture. I don’t.

How did the state prove “attempted murder”? They actually didn’t prove anything, did they? No forensic evidence whatsoever, missing camera, horrible expert witness, unreliable and conflicting testimony? It’s all good. Other than a self defense verdict, which wasn’t allowed, the only logical option the jury had was the one they selected.

LK claimed to have taken photos of the beds in which MHG’s children slept. She claimed that there were litter boxes next to or perhaps somehow above (?) these beds so that the cat feces overflowed onto the children’s beds. I believe she claimed both animal and child neglect on this basis.

I am so far behind, so apologies if this has already been asked.

Do we know if those photos were of the children’s beds in the house, or in the clubhouse? If they were in the house, could it be that the litterboxes were put on the beds after MB/MHG vacated to the barn? And who put them there, and why? Was it maybe to keep a dog from getting into them? And do we know whose cats they were?

Many people with both dogs and cats put litter boxes on something high enough that the dog cannot get to it. Because most dogs love cat s…

well, just because the judge shut it down does not mean there wasn’t evidence of it. Lying Lala learned quickly that SS is only interested when minors are involved, particularly with inappropriate contact. And sometimes things don’t have to be spelled out (like a shooting motion to the head)

LK repeatedly said on the forum that she did not accuse MB of sexual abuse or child abuse of any kind. Yet hundreds of times posters here kept stating that “the final straw” was her false claim of child sexual abuse phoned in by LK to CPS.

For some reason I had too many windows open earlier today - and never sent this reply…

What posters have been saying was that the final straw was CPS arriving that morning… I do not recall anyone saying anything much about sexual abuse claims - if anything at all. And it certainly did not happen “hundreds of times”. That suggestion just seems to have morphed into being out of nowhere in recent posts in this thread…

As far as LK saying anything repeatedly on this forum or anywhere else online, remember that she clearly stated that she lies a lot on SM… so it may be hard to determine exactly when she is actually saying something truthful.

I’ve followed these threads from the beginning. I haven’t read all the posts by any means, but there are indeed hundreds of posts which say LK (not SS), called CPS accusing MB of sexual abuse (not MHG of neglect,)

LK has admitted all along that she called SS (and MB/MHG did as well). I’ve read that any concern other than sexual abuse is categorized as “neglect”, and I think having an extra, illegal gun around with that level of tension was certainly not an appropriate place for children.

The repeated accusation that LK called CPS with false accusations of sexual abuse against MB is a lie. As is your statement that it hasn’t been stated on theses threads hundreds of times.

I can’t remember which one. I clicked through a bunch of things and it was 2 weeks ago. But, someone US based could just search under the names. There were screen shots for all three names in NJ. I’m outside the country so I cannot access those sites. Do you remember someone posted the screen shots from a search of LK’s name in NC way back in one of the original threads? It was like that, but in NJ. I don’t know the site or the county or whatever, but the screenshots were like the NC ones with the name, date, the offense, the court, etc.

My point is, what is discussed here is quite mild compared to what’s gone on since the trial exposed these folks to the wider interwebz where there are people who search and post this stuff with ease b/c that’s part of what true crime fans do; they look up the players and piece things together. It reminded me of a very lite version of that podcast Serial where thousands of people started to comb through phone records and researched all kinds of things about cell towers, etc. to assess the state’s case against the man who was convicted.

Color me not surprised at all that you don’t back up your titillating assertion.

I think Mr. Barisone’s attorney said that CARDS would be welcome. Sent To Michael Barisone in care of Attorney’s address. Mr. Barisone’s name to be put above the attorney’s name and address.

From my perspective (having experience with psych), in Mr. Barisone’s situation, letters from strangers would probably not be appropriate at this time. A cheerful card with the sentiment of “wishing you the best” “thinking of you” (or something of that nature) would probably be most helpful. NO mention of L.K. or of anything else that has happened.**

The fact that anyone nowadays bothers to send a simple card in the mail, will no doubt show him that you care.

And what I did was enclose an UNSEALED card to MB inside a card of congratulations and thanks to both Mr B and Mr D.
In my case, I didn’t make in C/O, since the main card was to Mr B and Mr D - with MB’s card inside theirs.
