There’s no chance Judge T or his staff leaked anything. If he were going to do that, he would have just handpicked media reps to be there, and cautioned them not to discuss until the trial is over, eliminating any blowback on him.

It wouldn’t necessarily be a leak for Mr Schellhorn or his peeps to tell the victim something like, for example, “yeah, most of the audio is not coming in.” That would actually be standard to do, since they are supposed to keep the victim updated. Since the evidence in question likely came from the victim, they’d be able to hazard a good guess what “most” means while still wondering (and possibly stressing) about why it’s “most” not all.

The thing is, there’s no rule to keep those hearings closed. It’s usually the judge’s discretion, and they err on the side of caution, to keep the case from being tried in the media and tainting the jury pool.

He would never read here - he was much too busy schooling his stable of amazing Grand Prix dressage prospects - but he had “friends” doing so.

The same “friends” who set up revolting FB pages, posted amazing comments about his incredible abilities using the same terminology NP used about himself, were his agents or his publicists or whatever they needed to be in the moment… you know, that kind of “friend”…

In point 2, that’s where IM is predicting, in my interpretation, that USEF will not touch MHG with a ten foot pole in naming her to an international team. He’s not saying that he actively intends to do anything to thwart her. I’m making the distinction between someone vowing to take active steps to ruin someone’s chances vs passively noting that, in their opinion, someone’s chances have been ruined (by their own actions in the tragedy). If you want to come back and insult my reading comprehension and say, ‘no, this is a vow by IM to ruin MGH’, there’s nothing I can say to that other than I appreciate, sincerely, that you posted his actual words so that others can decide for themselves what he meant.

On the significance of “ruin her universe”, as I remember IM was saying MHG uttered something about MB/MHG intending to ‘ruin her universe’ with “her” referring to LK. I had the impression that IM was suggesting that phrase was in the audio recordings, which, although not used in the criminal case, might be used by other adjudicators or by 48 hours.

The only reason to keep looking would be to find the quote in which IM states that “ruin her universe” was said by MHG about LK. It’s clear that MB/MHG went to considerable effort to dig up dirt on LK, with the PI and the reaching out to people who had had SM spats with LK -GJ, HB, (Eggbutt?)- and submitting a huge file of complaints against LK to SS and USDF- that’s all admitted by MHG, right?

MHG was campaigning to ruin LK in the weeks prior to the shooting. After the shooting, MHG disappeared and LO laudably packed up the facility and provided what support she could to MB. Who took over the effort to ruin LK? Did that fall to you, Eggbutt?

As far as @CurrentlyHorseless baseless speculation that MHG left b/c she’s not ‘classy’ (a concern CH mysteriously does not seem to have regarding RG or any member or the family Kanarek ) I can only assume CH has no children in her life in any capacity.

I don’t know why MHG left and, most importantly, it is absolutely none of my business.

However, I do have 2 minor children. What I can tell you without doubt is that, if my husband and I were divorced and shared custody, and if my then ex was involved with a new woman, I would not care how nice she was, if she’d been to the Olympics, if she was well-known and respected in her industry, if she was an all-around lovely, upstanding citizen: the minute there was evidence that she had two drug users on the property where my children were when with their father, I would tell him: if he has the children there ever again, even one time, I’m suing for sole physical custody that day.

That day. It could be the most amicable divorce in the history of divorce and the moment I knew my ex was so fearful of where he was that he called his father to come physically stay there and that he sent our children back to me for safety, we would be done with that arrangement.

I would give him an ultimatum: your GF seemed nice, she seemed to really like our kids, it was a fine situation for most of the time, but unfortunately 2 people have entrenched themselves there and now you must leave her or we go to court over custody.

• illegal drug use
• records of assault, possession, B&E, harassment, cyber stalking
• their attempt to find the location of my children (and, thus, me/my family)
• their being instrumental in having CPS come out

Even just ONE of those is a deal breaker for me as the other parent. Some people are not understanding how serious it is to have CPS come. It’s not a, no bigs, just checking up situation. If CPS comes, has gotten real. If there is even a mistake or miscommunication, your family could be in world of lengthy, complex negotiations to get things back to normal. You can temporarily lose custody of your own children. Think about that. Even if there’s nothing wrong, if someone gets the false accusation just right, you can have a very difficult and long road ahead to resolve it. And your name will never be cleared entirely. You’ll still be the parents who had CPS take their kids temporarily.

Imagine false accusation to SS times one million.

It’s gross to speculate about whether MHG truly loved (WTH, who speculates about that?) MB. No man walking this earth would EVER be my choice over my children. And if the other parent caused me to make that choice, it might break my heart, but I wouldn’t hesitate for a second.

If my husband had my children in a place where they had daily exposure to LK and RG, or people like them, I would die on that hill. We’d be in court and he would need to make a choice and make it fast.

People get divorced, get in and out of relationships, but still try to do the best for their kids. I’m on the outside so I cannot say how much this disrupted her children or what kind of relationship she had with MB exactly. I also can’t recall who came first to the property, LK or MHG? Genuinely cannot recall.

To rephrase your sensible take on voluntary business relationships, if your girlfriend/protégée has a real problem with one of your clients, as business owner you notify the client early on, in April of 2019, or May, or June, that the training relationship, boarding agreement, and housing agreement ends in 30 days. You don’t fail to tell them to leave, then up and shoot them.
