What’s weird is Mr Schellhorn started to ask about committees and such, Mr D objected, Judge Taylor said he’d allow it and…Mr Schellhorn just moved on. It was very, very odd.
Anyone truly attempting to commit to sobriety would not be living with someone presently, or at times “slipping up”, ie using… even if its not on the farm.
There’s also the idea of stinkin thinkin, or behaving like you did while using (manipulation, gaslighting, lying, stealing, cheating,…) being a no no.
Part of the struggle with reconciling these events is we are not conditioned to people like the Kanareks and their buddies. They are outliers of society, at least in my life and neighborhood of experiences. There are few to no redeeming factors to these people…I honestly can not think of positive attributes for them, except possibly the soup kitchen work, if that was a truth.
I can imagine there really are more people out there like the Kanareks, but perhaps they are better able and willing to conform to the standards of society in order to blend in and contribute to the welfare of their environment.
Wow, that’s awful! When people search it could look like someone in your own home is the registered offender.
This kind of thing and the fact that if drugs are found the property owners could face constructive possession charges should be a major concern for anyone who has people like this at their facility.
There are also many awful people out there. LK isn’t the only one willing to weaponise agencies like CPS. Anyone who knows LK’s and RG’s backgrounds could easily make a call out of ‘concern’ about the exposure of the young children at the current barn to people and behaviour like this.
Not only do I think it’s a bad idea to have people on your property like LK and RG (no way would I let them around my children), even if they don’t call CPS/do something to set in motion someone else calling CPS, it also opens you up to having other people call CPS on you for exposing minor children to drug use, people with criminal records, etc.
You know, I’m not speculating on who CH is, I really don’t care, but a little trick might be that if you think of CH as an desperate alter of Yankee Dutchess, it becomes sooo much easier to ignore CH.
Is it possible some of these revelations may be bit new even to the parents?
I mean 100 per cent she lies to her parents.
They may have believed that she was seriously riding horses as part of recovery, not just dabbling in an active addict dazed way and going street addict toxic when that became apparent to those in her horse life.
a recovering addict does not live with another recovering addict,
a recovering addict does not live with another addict
a recovering addict is actively seeking a way to get off suboxone or methodone by taking smaller and smaller doeses. this can be difficult, because the treatment centers continue to prescribe the “medications”. Methodone is severelyl addicting and very hard to wean off of.
a recovering addict is actively open about their recovery and usually is under a doctor’s care supervising it, but not always. Often the have to figure it all out alone.
LK displays no signs of being a recovering addict and all the signs of being an actively using addict.
