Barisone Verdict Is In: Not Guilty By Reason of Insanity

Maybe the reason why Bob can’t go to the family home?

what!? I missed something -Ali Brock was in on a scheme to get LK? I didn’t get that in her testimony… I didn’t hear anything about getting LK kicked out out USEF? Confused… sorry - can anyone explain? Thank you.

I’m guessing the prosecutor was foolish enough to swallow some conspiracy theory from LK on the subject.

LK posted a rant on FB 2 years ago claiming they were all corrupt frauds running USEF. Usually, she is more vague about who she is talking about, but in this rant she named names. This particular rant was attached to a Chronicle of the Horse news article in the comments.

Apparently this “theory” was presented to the prosecution in the Barisone trial as a means to call Ali Brock’s character into question and discredit her testimony about MB. The prosecution started to go into it on is cross, but after an objection by the defense he thought better of it and ceased the line of questioning.

I merely asked, if anyone knew of this kind of accusation was something the upper mgmt of USEF was interested in knowing about since they almost made it into a criminal trial.

Thank you - but I still don’t understand - I watched all he Olympians on the stand, a couple , ok, many times… - never heard anyone challenge Ali Brock? maybe because I got distracted and forgot when Philip Dutton, blow my mind, and my crush forever Boyd Martin, then testified on behalf of MB… sigh… and BTW I am a super fan of Ali Brock - so can anyone explain what happened on the stand with her? I didn’t / don’t get it…

They literally didn’t get the whole question out. They got objected to as soon as the prosecution mentioned the word USEF committee……they stopped there.

so they tried to discredit her?

Shame, Shame on them - Discrediting an Olympian who has worked hard and honestly all her life. SHAME on them. You can not cheat in Dressage.

Ironically Ali Brock instructs at Paradigm, at least she used to coach Leif Aho at his facility. I have no idea if they still work with each other or not.

well… I hope she stays far away from: She Who Shall Not Be Named - actually, hope the Olympian totally disregards her as the nobody that she is.

You’re an odd one, aren’t you?

Well, he advertises that he does. We all know sometimes websites can be out of date, but it appears he does.

Any discussion of people attempting to ruin LK is hilarious. She has done a pretty good job of ruining herself, as is true of every opiod addict.

People don’t conspire to ruin addicts. They don’t need to. People just usually try to get the hll away from them. Like banning them from the family home and firing them from training programs.

Wait, so Ali Brock, that great witness we saw in the trial, has to go to Paradigm to train the owner there - where LK is who is smearing Ali’s name all over this BB, on facebook, etc. and who has hinted that she’s hired a ‘top ten global blue chip law firm’ which has argued several SCOTUS cases blah blah blah stare decisis (or whatever twaddle she was babbling on that thread) to sue someone or something big (people were speculating she’s going to try to sue SS and USEF)?

If I were Ali I wouldn’t step foot on that property until LK was no longer there. I honestly hope she has someone with her at all times as LK has been so vocal in targeting her, I would be concerned for Ali’s safety.

Same for MHG. I’d make sure if there was even a slight chance LK might be at the same place at the same time, I’d make sure I had a couple people around me if I were MHG. Can’t be too careful with people like that.

Exactly.

The other thing is that it’s difficult for someone who isn’t an addict to grasp their behavior(s). Just generally speaking about addicts in general here. Lies are the norm for them. They can be good at it and they don’t care. They’ll lie to your face about anything and everything. It’s unbelievable, literally. Just speaking from personal experience.

I would guess the defense was thinking of going down the rabbit hole to disprove yet another allegation. Then figured it was just not worth it, let the jurors just think about it like they did with everything else.

Or he realized that he was about to try to smear the reputation of an olympic medalist on the American team and stopped himself.

Yes. If she’s still teaching there, yes.
