Barisone Verdict Is In: Not Guilty By Reason of Insanity

LK also seems to get confused in some of her posts implying Vera Barisone was also living there when she (LK) arrived. Vera was gone when LK made her grand entrance. Facts matter - unless you are a Kanarek.

Wow, that is an incredibly close call. For her sake, Iā€™m so glad she didnā€™t get more, and realized it and walked away.

But Iā€™m sure I read somewhere that she only uses it to nap after lessons or riding before she goes home. I could be off, but donā€™t have the time to go looking for the post.

Still, if itā€™s a leased apartment - unless the lease only gives her access on certain days or between certain times, she has the right to come and go even if the stables are ā€œclosedā€ as a legal tenant.

I have no knowledge of what is on the lease, just commenting in general.

I canā€™t help but suspect that the after ride naps are more than just naps.

And who was the source of that information? Was it LK, who testified under oath on the witness stand that she lies a lot on social media?

The trainer certainly should not have to go somewhere else to work with his own trainer. But at the same time, the rest of the boarders should not have to rearrange all their schedules in order to shut down the facility one day a week (or whatever) in order for him to bring his trainer onto the property without fear of complications. Which seem very likely to happen anyway, in spite of any rules they might put in place, as others have noted.

So it seems like the way to inconvenience the smallest number of people is for the trainer at that facility to just take himself, with or without a horse, to a different place to work with AB, assuming they both want to do that.

Personally, I would not view that as letting LK ā€œwin.ā€ If anything, I would think of it more as depriving her of any drama or attention she might like to stir up at the boarding facility.

To repeat, I donā€™t know anything about what goes on there. But that approach seems like the most sensible one to me.

I remember that also, but I donā€™t know where I read it.

She said it in one of her own posts on some thread regarding boarding arrangements and cameras and whatever. She also airily mentioned she only ever has private grooms. It was totally disconnected from the rest of the discussion. You may ask why. And that is because she had to make the discussion about her. I remember reading it and thinking ā€œwhat an entitled ninny.ā€

Can you imagine being at a board barn where the owner has to leave the property to train with his chosen Olympic level trainer because of one boarder with a distinctly negative reputation and has made negative public comments about the trainer? Wow.

Why does anyone have to jump through hoops for this woman? Itā€™s simple, if Aho wants to continue training with Brock, and Brock agrees to come to the property as long as LK is absent, then Aho needs to man up and tell LK she is not allowed on the property during xyz times/days whatever!!!

But, guess what? Ahoā€™s training situation and business practices is none of our business, is it?

The thing that makes the most sense is to get rid of the problematic boarder.

Right?

Who needs a ā€œnapā€ before they drive five or ten minutes back to their house? Especially when they have a chauffeur?

Logic dictates itā€™s for another reason.

Oh, absolutely.

But unless or until that happensā€¦

I wonder what would be the chances anyone would run into her? Maybe she is riding more?

I also wonder if she is still without a driverā€™s license? Where is she going to nap while waiting for Rob to come pick her up? She canā€™t nap in his truck if itā€™s not there.

Hmmm dilemmas everywhereā€¦ā€¦

we knew that. Her house boyfriend (I note nobody refers to him as fiance, anymoreā€¦), RG, is the groom/launderer/chauffeur/complimenter/videographer/doer of all things.

Come pick her up?

Isnā€™t he there at the barn the whole time, helping her with the horses?

One would think that!

Maybe the barn staff does it now.

Rob has a lot of work to do on the house, he canā€™t spend all his time at the barn waiting to hose off her horses!

I agree I would not want LK at my barn.

But it strikes me that a dilletante ammie with health issues whose horses are in full training and who does not live on the property just isnā€™t going to be at the barn that much. Even if sheā€™s allowed to nod off in a barn apartment while her boyfriend untacks the horse. I suspect it would be easy enough to schedule ride times when sheā€™s not there. And likely the trainers and barn owners block out low traffic times for their own lessons they arenā€™t taking away from their teaching slots.

I sure hope this time it does not involve a long drawn-out court case.

Until she shows up. And then it is not a ride time when she is not there.

Exactly.

And AB would probably need to make sure to keep her car locked at all times, according to the retired cop who testified at the trial. Who needs that kind of headache?
