oh my that’s terrible…it says a person is still not accounted for 
3 apartments in the barn, that’s surprising. That’s not allowed in Ontario, for the fire hazard risk.
Barn apartments are common in the US.
Also, I imagine if you just lost your barn, a person, and a bunch of horses you wouldn’t be responding normally either, nor would you appreciate someone accusing you of being “flat.”

I just saw Blair and Karen two weeks ago. She won the $40,000 prim here at the National Western Stockshow. I hope the deceased is not who I believe it could possibly be (a friend from childhood).
The Cudmores have been a fixture in the H/J scene for so long. I am gutted to see this. They are lovely folks. Karen has always been the kindest person to me, even when we competed against each other.

Yeah, but your snarky tone wasn’t appreciated, as many people on here know them and love them. So keep your judgmental comments to yourself and let people get the information they need to reach out and help them.
They’ve had some real challenges lately and this tragedy just adds to it. I’m so sorry this happened and I hope they know that so many people are thinking of them and standing behind them for support.

It is awful! They are about an hour from where I live. From what I am hearing, there unfortunately will be more horses. This is every horse’s person’s worst nightmare.

Heartbroken for them. They’ve had a lot of challenges in the last year, and this is just one more. I got to know Brooke and Karen really well when I was showing out here, and they’re such lovely people.
