They’re probably wondering what illicit drugs your’e on – and wondering where you got them.
You, like The Master, are here to “sell” something.

Aint tried to sell a thing…drugs are for idiots…my drug of choice is the sweet smell of horse…
PFB, stand back! I’m about to deliver a can o’ Snark.
Reverend, you’ve been trying to sell that bitless contraption of yours forever. You’ve also been trying to sell people on your idea of welfare for the competitive horse, which, by the way, involves denigrating the use of bits in dressage.
You’re nearly as bad a charlatan as The Master. The only thing that saves you from being JUST as bad is, you’ve provided some film and photos for our entertainment in the past.
You have tried to set yourself up as some sort of expert on equine anatomy and some sort of guru on “classic dressage”. You’ve been pestering various organizations and individuals with your crackpot ideas and making a laughingstock of yourself.
Well, I guess everybody needs a hobby.
gosh, it is so great how the dressage board here on coth is so supportive of each other, how it engenders a sense of family and we are all able to let go of our differences and bond over the love of the horse and the obsession with dressage.
i feel so sorry for those on the other boards who dont get the amount of love that goes around here!!!
group hug!
The Reverend ain’t no “dressage” rider and even YOU know that, mbm!
The really IN thing, is a bridleless, bitless bridle, but hey, Reverend Spirithorse found out that nothing from nothing leaves nothing, and trying to sell the bridle less, bit-less thing left no profit. So now it’s just bit-less.
I think bridles are EVIL, and if Spirithorse were really spiritual, he’d promote the bit-less AND bridle-less too!
A REAL dressage rider, only needs a string, a thin silken thread, that’s the kinda lightness i’m TALKIN BOUT:lol:
…
Kinda like the Emperor’s New Clothes, BD?
Shipping such products would be cheap, and no one could complain the fit was wrong!

Look ma, no hands!
mbm, I’m sharing the love! I ended up on this thread because I learned that I was not the only obsessive-compulsive-read everything about dressage including fortune cookies-knowing every competitor, every saddle , every bridle, every horse bone, muscle, brain pattern-learned how to shoe-so I can tell the farrier how to-terrified that ole Snookums may have a sniffle, a sore muscle, or just a bad day-learning that Ole Snookum’s zillion dollar saddle may fit him today but not tomorrow-maybe a different bit would be better-study ALL the theories of dressage so I KNOW I’m doing the right one…
And come here and argue points, and be entertained by Beasmom and her snarkiness (LOL) and everyone else’s. There’s nothing more boring than a polite, rock-no-boats debate.
Now I have one multiple choice question:
Do I order a new Stubben bridle with:
a. pink padding
b. blue padding
c. crystals in the browband
d. rubber or plaited reins
e. a,c,d
f. b,c,d
Now, I just got a 25 year old Hopfner saddle, for a bargain price, because?
All I want to do is ride Exactly like Reiner Klimke. Am I asking too much?
b,c,d of course, unless you are an eventer
(where’s the ‘gaggy’ smiley face )
Is this for the mule? Please post a photo when you get it!

The Master is very busy he cant be bothered with people that do not need kung fu, acupuncture , boating, falconry, bit making, riding, all french things in genera, fashion design, origami, print making, cliff diving, wine making, the ministry of the goofy walk, ghost hunting, and many other activities.;)[/QUOTE]
ROTFLMAO !!! Cracked me up and gave me a much needed laugh ! Thanks !
BTW, what is ‘’ the ministry of the goofy walk ‘’ ? Hilarious, regardless !
silly walks indeed… I only wish that they had ‘taken a take’ on dressage…

Yes it is, only the best for Buttercup. I had the Hopfner on her last night, and it fits great. I had to borrow a girth and leathers. Boy, in that Hopfner, I don’t even have to think about if I’m in good position-it plants me right where I should be. I will get that picture!

I think those are my choices, too.
