Who else said that they don’t know who to root for in the Breeder’s Cup? I feel the same way: American Pharoah or Beholder? It’s all good.

Kudos to Richard Mandella for making the right choice for the horse. I watched the documentary ‘On the Muscle’ about his training stable, and was really impressed. He seems like a class act.
My thoughts as well. D*mn and glad her health and safety come first but was looking forward to the match up with AP.

Nooo! I was so hoping she’d win the Classic. It’s a shame Kudos to Mandella for doing the right thing for the horse. Definitely a favorable impression of him.
What a shame though. Had she been able to race I think it really would have been something amazing to watch.
Ugh, so disappointed. Although I’m glad her health is priority.
And in retrospect… perhaps a bit self-serving as if she is bleeding, she won’t produce a 100% effort and that Classic field needs horses at a 100% to have a chance of winning
Beholder is running today in the Grade 3 Adoration Stakes at Santa Anita.
She won, but is there a replay available yet?
