On a side note, I am getting my samples sometime this week or next and am SO EXCITED!!! I’ve only smelled the lavender vanilla and vanilla mint (and the balm), so I can’t wait to smell all the other scents! :yes:

Well, Starla’s Sugar and Spice have done the impossible. It made a 12 year old boy interested in in smelling the thing I will be yelling at him to use to clean his tack! 
He actually loved the smell and took several big whiffs. If he turns into a tack cleaning junkie (or even just a tack cleaning anything) I will be buying in bulk. My 9 year old daughter also loved it and said “it smells just like Halloween!” Our dog also took a big whiff, and a lick, so great reviews all around!!! I also loved the leather balm and the kids were excited that it was unscented so it won’t cover up the soap!! My daughter would also like to request more strawberry candy next time…
Anyway, everything about this soap and balm is wonderful and the good reviews span all generations!

Libby, a friend smelled my Sugar and Spice to see if she needed to buy it… she was immediately enraptured and said it’s the best scent so far.
OK…so how do I decide what to order?? We really do need a sampler pack. It ALL sounds wonderful!

I was curious if anyone uses a wash cloth when using the soap instead of the sponge?
I really like the way the soap performs, but I am so used to using a wash cloth on my strap goods and my sponge is constantly flying out of my hands and across the tack room when I am cleaning my bridle
And Bensmom…is the Sugar and Spice only available while supplies last or will you make another batch if needed later in the month? I bought it trying to get a head start on some Christmas shopping but I love the smell and really want to use it myself. But I already have two other soaps from you that I haven’t used up!
I’ve used a washcloth – I have issues with holding onto a sponge myself!
As far as discounts – the holiday specials should appear on the website soon! And, at this time, there are no plans to keep the Sugar & Spice past October 31! So, you have to grab on before they are gone! But, I will make as much as is ordered between now and then.

How are the Christmas sampler packs shaping up? Have you quit your day job?
Do you know how great it is to show up at a lesson, go into the trailer to get boots on and horse off and find that O dear, too bad, didn’t clean boots after LAST lesson…Snag Buzzy’s soap, get sponge wet from water jugs, clean up boots and have them GLOW and still be on time for lesson? It is pretty great. And the balm has made my saddle stop squeaking! Soft and squishy.
So. . . it’s been a while since I posted. I was one of the original testers and was lucky enough to get the “confidence” soap - a special edition. I liked it, it did a good job cleaning tack. So so a lot of other products.
We are almost to the end of our little rubbermaid tub o’soap, and here’s what I noticed yesterday. It’s the cumulative affect that makes this stuff SO special. Our bridles (which, because I am the tack nazi) get cleaned after every use. They look better than brand new.
And Libby. . . Mr. PM admitted today that he loves the smell of the soap - it makes him feel relaxed and happy. Then I told him what was in it and that he was a victim of aromatherapy. He’s sold. We will be ordering more shortly!

This is a note from my friend who used the cleaner and balm on his leather couch and chairs.

Got to tell you the cleaner and balm is simply amazing.
We’ve just about used them up doing the couch and one of the chairs but I’ll be getting a refill for the last chair and for later on touch-ups.
When I went looking (online) last night it appeared the balm wasn’t available- hopefully she just ran out and needs to make another batch but I sent her a note asking when it might be available again.
The difference is simply night and day.
I took a picture that you will see someday but it looks like a grey chair next to a burgundy couch.

The cumulative effects of using this soap and balm is so astounding to me. Back when I purchased my Jaguar saddle (15 years old!) back in May, it was all sorts of different colors and blotchy, not to mention very dried out on the little flap that covers the stirrup buckles. I was looking at this saddle yesterday after cleaning and conditioning and you would never know it was the same one I purchased months ago. The dryness is gone, the color is even richer than I could ever imagine. Thank you so much for these miracle working products. You have a customer for life!
Btw I am now using the soap and balm on my brand new CWD and it is breaking the saddle in beautifully. So so pleased!
I am behind on this, but just used my soap today!! It really is amazing. I used it on a nasty leather halter, and now it looks nearly new! I love how it made my hands feel, now I have no excuse to not clean my tack!! I am officially hooked!
p.s. When is the factory opening? 
ha! There are days when I wish I had a factory!! Those are the days when it is past midnight and I am still trying to get products ready to ship!! Very grateful for Mr. Bensmom, as he staffs the shipping and packing department and does so very well!
Libby – I took care of the balm being out earlier today. I need to learn more about Etsy and how to get it to auto re-load or something! I’m so glad your friend liked it! I sent a note back telling him what you ordered and that I fixed the problem so he can re-order.
It makes me so happy to see that everyone likes the products! I used a LOT of the balm on one of my dressage saddles that was really dry and neglected. I am happy with it, but I learned that if it isn’t buffed in/off well, it can get sticky, so I probably need to re-write the directions and make that clearer, though none of my customers has complained of that. So maybe I used it wrong?!!
