Citrus Ginger is the best scent evah.
Especially heading into summer, I really like those bright kinds of scents. I second the suggestion of grapefruit!

Next month is a one year anniversary ā we are planning a special scent for April, named for a very special horse. Give me some ideas of scents yāall would like to see![/QUOTE]
Lemon Coconut!! Mix sprint and summer together⦠yum!!!
Iām still hoping for Orange Blossom
One of the boarders at the barn mentioned that she was interested in trying āsome of that bensmomās saddle soapā - and I said wait! Iāve got three scents in my locker right now! (and two more at home) Had a couple other people come over for smell tests too.
My suggestion for the new scent is something with green tea. I hardly ever wear perfume, but when I do itās Elizabeth Ardenās Green Tea. Itās so fresh and light. Iāve also used hand lotion with green tea and verbena, which gives a citrus note to it (I also love citrus scents).
Iām so excited that yāall had a successful time at Red Hills!!!
I sadly admit, knowing what it says about me as a tack owner, that I havenāt even had a chance to try mine yet. I got it as a thrilling surprise right when all the farm oversight madness began and Iāve barely been able to brush a horse every now and again, let alone clean tack. So I guess I will find out if it stores well!! I canāt wait to try it thought, Iāve got some billets and bridles begging.
Sorry, bensmom, but itās not for lack of really wanting to!!!
New Scent?
Does this mean I should hold off on ordering until next month?
Grapefruit is a particular favorite of mine, but I also adore just good old mint (pepper- or spear-, theyāre both good) or green apple.
Jasmine! Or coconut lime verbena!
And wildlifer, my inner George Morris has developed an eye twitchāyou have had that soap for MONTHS, you heathen!! Ok. I feel better now.

This sounds delish! And good-smelling too.
Ooh jasmine!! Green apple sounds yummy too. I never got around to ordering a few weeks ago, but now Iām going to wait until April to see what the special scent will be!

HAHHAHA, well, now I canāt use it just because I love to do things that would horrify the Morris-ettes! Like faded square pads with hair on them and gasp dusty boots and muddy hooves and shirts with drool and hay and sweat on them. See what you did to yourself!
On a side note, omg, coconut, I would just eat it.
Oh, I always show up @ the barn looking like a blind hobo these days. But I do kind of live in constant fear of a surprise barn inspection from GM (cuz, ya know, he totally does that). So, I do keep everything neat and (mostly) clean and tidy. Growing up in an A-circuit h/j barn does that to ya, even if it is kind of a āghettoā A-circuit barn. We didnāt even have wood chips!
Another vote for coconut! But maybe without the lemon? Iām almost through my first tub of soap (4 leather halters, two saddles and more bridles and pieces than I can count!) and I have plenty of back up, but Iām always looking for more!
Is night-blooming jasmine a scent that can be bottled/captured? Because omg, it smells scrumptious!
Coconut by itself would also be nice. I sometimes use a coconut conditioner, which is lovely, but I also feel like it makes me smell a little bit like a slutty spring-break girl.
Oh geez, night-blooming jasmine would be awesome! I hoard that Bath and Body Works scent (my all time favorite).
BTW, Iām slowly converting all my barn friends to use Bensmomās stuff. Theyāll come around eventually.
What about Blackberry Vanilla or Mango?
Speaking of coconut⦠how about Pina Colada?
Mmmmm, I do love jasmine. Less tempting to eat, as well. BUT I did actually try the soap last night, FRIZZLE!
OMG, I LOVED IT. And um, yeah, my leather is very thirsty. But I was fascinated that it wasnāt goopy or drippy or wet or anything. Super cool. Tomorrowās rainy day, may include some saddle therapyā¦
Yay! About damn time! I sent it to you circa a bajillionty months ago!
Just placed my first order for a soap and the balm! Iām super excited!

Ooh! A first-timer!!
Boy are you in for a treat. You can blame us when you come a tack monkey (donāt try to fight it, just let it happen . . . )
