Shoulda Been There Award: OK, I’ll admit it - Mosby’s

Group Hug/Warm Moment: See all of the above

[This message has been edited by Portia (edited 12-01-2000).]

That’s so weird - everyone at the shows is talking about Colin and Moesha. I thought it was just a rumor! Best New Couple for 2000 - I vote for them!

Okay, I’ll play…

Best Thread (Overall): Anything to do with Native American Warmbloods

Most Informative Thread (horse related, of course!): Rule change proposals

Best Thread-into-Action (goes to an idea/recommendation/thought that actually proved to have a positive outcome): The one I posted on the horse care forum when my horse had a torn suspensory.

Most Humorous Thread: There have been so many… recently, thongs and pantylines come to mind, but I’m sure I’m forgetting some good ones from earlier in the year. Horse show mom moments was pretty good too.

Group Hug/Warm Moment: As one who appreciates both the horse-related, serious topics as well as more frivolous subjects, I find this bb to provide a great balance between useful and interesting information and plain old silliness all in one place!

feeling very unloved…

Sarah

Well Sarah, maybe we should start a clique. Rocky Pony Rider can join in. And there must be other step-sitters that never get mentioned. Whitney? Jax? Paige? C’mon, everyone who does indeed feel unloved, we’re going to create UJUMP (Unloved Juniors Unanimously propose to Make Progress!). And as a founding member of UJUMP, I say our first mission should be to create a TON of alter-egos so we can get some recognition around here once Erin busts us, make Becca change that darn screen name so that she can start fresh and stop taking all of the credit around here

Paragraph break so I get credit by the Grammar Gurus

And then, we are going to all be really evil on every single thread for one month, and then proceed to gradually revert to our angelic selves and win the “most improved” award. Sound like a plan?
And thanks to the one person that mentioned my never-uttered name. It was appreciated!

“and when Jair, Jeb, Moesha, and Sea Urchin are all hittinh on eachother and other guys.”

This is a separate statement!!

Of course you’re a co-founder, dahling!
To all you unloved juniors - it’s our new clique and we’re cool but I don’t think we can ever scare or profusely disturb as many people as the other cliques…and after all we are innocent little step sitters…[
Sarah

Well, any other takers? Regalmeans here has basically said it all. I hope we’re deeply touching someone by starting UJUMP. Someone who forgot to mention it and will now spend the rest of her life shedding some tears for us every night! RIGHT?

Best Thread (Overall): Probably the “Let’s Meet” or… gosh, I don’t know!

Most Informative Thread (horse related, of course!): The National Horse Show one sniff

Most Humorous Thread: Anything to do with quiches or carrots, Underwear!, or the one that poor dead VA Trainer started.

Dead Horse Award (goes to thread topic that was rehashed way too much, should be banished for next year and NOT to be reopened here): Ugh! HELMETS and Towerheads.

Hall of Shame Award (goes to best deleted thread): Chain Nosebands

Most Improved Poster (goes to anyone who has improved deportment and exhibited redeemable qualities): Either Kelsey or Colin (no more alter egos, eh?)

Most Informative Member (horsemanship, training tips, etc.): Becca

Best Motivational Member: CTT

Best Annoying Member (meant in a GOOD WAY!): Colin, I think it’s going to be unanimous. This board wouldn’t be the same without her!

Most Humorous Member: Colin again! Or possibly Sea Urchin (read: anyone TALKING about Sea Urchin).

Most Sorely Missed Alter-ego: VA Trainer!

Rodney Dangerfield Lifetime Achievement Award (goes to most maligned and misunderstood member): Kelsey, Colin (she sure is popular), or any of the many alter-egos. No one seems to know anything about them.

Best Lurker-turned-Poster: Me

Fashionplate Barbie Award (needs no explanation): Duffy or Becca

Best recurring annoying topic that has nothing to do with anything: Thongs and them dang quiches

Kumbaya Award (goes to thread where everyone actually got along): Let me think… um… um…

Member most likely to call you from jail: Colin AGAIN!

Group Hug/Warm Moment: (Here’s your chance to redeem yourself for making Erin’s life miserable. Write something great about how much you’ve grown as a person/rider/horse owner by being allowed to participate in this forum. (Must be heartfelt and hella sappy!) I’ll get back to this one!

Rocky Pony Rider-
Not anymore! You have the honor of being one of the first official members.
And since this “clique” is made up of the poor little people that the mean BB rulers neglected, it’s perfectly ok. I mean, it was their fault to begin with! Hehehe…

Totally…the real question is should we start our own thread now and take up yet more room? And you can’t be unloved anymore if you are in UJUMP cause we’re the clique that loves ya anyway btw my other IM name is eggs025 and I’m on that ALOT Just saying.

Anyways…I love ya all!

I am honored…I try…Bless you sweet child!!

I can’t wait to develop enough of a reputation on this board that I’m worth mentioning, lol. But hey, I just arrived and I behave myself, so there’s not much to say. Well if the Chronicle board sticks around, then maybe someday! Or perhaps I should get an alter ego?

haha it’s okay if yall don’t like me…i understand…i have to go back to my hol ein the wall and continue crying…

Slightly off topic (for which the Anti Humour Brigade will probably flame me) but, what on earth does Kumbaya mean. Is it a Simba Lion King thing? Or was that more along the lines of Akunamata…“it means no worries, for the rest of your life da da da” Losing it now. Sorry for the off topic post but it was late.

Don’t forget to sway back and forth to the tune - sort of trancelike is best, I think. . .Perhaps a look of wonder on ones face, while looking upward. . .

I made it on a list but not an Alter-Ego list??? Must try harder on this board!!!
I must say I value and appreciate each and every poster who comes here to post, each and every thread for the potential it contains, to improve, change, enlighten, amuse or otherwise affect my life, for the many and varied interrelationships of people and written word on this board. In a word, a sense of community, good and bad, ups and downs, humurous and serious, it’s own little eco system I am very happy to be part of.

PS–Heidi?? quote: Biblically speaking, BBB (Before Bulletin Board), I knew you whence MAZ; only to re-encounter you here, which biblically speaking would redefine our relationship as ABB (after BB).
You mean to say your relationship with MAZ was, uh, biblical???

Where did you hear that BIG Hoof? I disagree, everyone knows that Colin only goes for Cowboys

Excuse me RagsRules, but kindly remove my name, from that comment, “hitting on other guys??” what is that about? Who did I ever hit on? I’m sorry but some coal miners daughter from PA needs to be careful what you post!

And that, my friends, is worth it all.

Uh, Colin, Rags is a boy. (Golly I have been waiting a long time to do that )

He is almost 13 and frequently is on the bb when he ought to be in school or doing homework or mucking stalls or something else the wee ones are assigned.
