Best threads/trainwrecks on COTH?

Rollkur and slaughter are also common trainwrecked topics.

I was kinda sad that the one about Arabian Jumpers went odd. The Gambler’s Choice is, imo, one of the more fun events to watch at scottsdale.

Apology for assumptions I made about Catwalk - Page 6 - Chronicle Forums

this was also a good one… but falls under the Parelli heading…

If I am remembering the Thank God for the OTTB thread, it was amazing, moving, and I cried. I don’t remember it being bizarre at all. I will look for the link.
It was a great/horrible story. It looks like the thread was revived and degenerated later.

Well under your description, eating your horse thread

There was a pretty excellent one recently on the HJ board.

Anything Parelli is likely to be trainwrecked, as is anything rollkur, weight-related, slaughter related, and dumb questions written by a nasty poster.

Sad situations that are going to be happening too much…

Hey! For the longer time members…

Anything with the member Chanter. You guys remember that mess?
Yeah…you dodged a bullet on that one!!!

The one about the poster who’s horses were seized by authorities while she was at WEG?

The one with the horses seized was pintopiaffe but not sure which thread started it all…

There are too many hits that come up when I search that name, so, which thread would you recommend? I’m looking for a thread that has a nice blend of humor and confusion, one that starts off bold and pretentious but has a nice, subtle finish at the end.

I’ll vote for one of the threads I started when bored… (Is that allowed? I think it had some of the best humor from the posters here…)

Also, “Practical Protection for private parts (or Get thee to a nunnery)” was hysterical.

Child in my Pasture
Crazy Crayola Trainer (though that might not be the thread title)
These two got me through last winter.

Did the leaking sailboat come up in lunging at Devon?

My two favorites have got to be Arabian Jumpers and Majikal Gypsy Vanners. Arabian Jumpers was Aunt Esther’s debut PLUS more “houseguests” than could fit in most houses, and Gypsy Vanners was our first glance of butterfly farts.

hmm… dogs are usually fun too lol.

You beat me to it, Coreene.
Don’t forget to invoke the ADA.

I believe so.

Free the Chicken was also great- it had so many items on the trainwreck checklist!

a lot of the farrier and photography threads can go that way too come to think of it.
