Beware of some OTTB sellers, Churchill Hunt Club

This is not so hard. Go walk around the local race tracks and let people know you will take their bad racers off their hands for free. Take them home and clean them up a tad and sell them under the auspices your an OTTB rescue (is she a not for profit or for profit?). If she sold 200 horses last year I am sure the IRS has record of all of her sales. Jumping a 2 year old is simply inexcusable. The track issue is that these young horses are being worked too early before bone plates close and then they go and do the same thing at the farm jumping them so high. She posts on equinenow.com and does NOT list prices which is very telling. Her contact form had so many misspellings and they ask what the budget is. How perfect…tell us what you have to spend and we will have the ones in your budget. After one pass through google of their names and the fact she has managed to blame everyone for their business failures or problems speaks volumes…i hear RUN FORREST RUN

She would be best served to stop responding and go away and hope people don’t find out her other side. At the end of the day if they are finding horses from the track, feeding them and selling them for a fair price then that is perfectly fine. Claiming they have to use their vet because every other vet caused problems is a huge red flag. I am sure she discloses the injuries and records from each horse since they are so young it shouldn’t be hard to locate.

I am still chuckling that the Canadian Olympic Team reached out to her and invited her on their team but she was too worn out to accept. Who trained her as a junior…never heard the name Sandra Chappell…has anyone else?

I will continue finding CANTER horses

Ravishing vicious dervishing fishes. We could make ceviche. Yummy.
:lol::lol::lol:

Holy dervish malicioushness, I have NEVER laughed so hard at a COTH thread in my life. I can’t even type through the tears. My stomach hurts worse than an English teacher’s red pen right now. Good heavens.

I’ve decided that Churchill is a poorly trained robot with a short-circuit in her dialogue sequencing array. What with all the dervishing fishes and what not. Where do these people come from?

Is it bad that I’m enjoying myself? :uhoh:

RedMare01, Evil Vich
…or would that be “Viche”…hmm

actually I think it’s spelled Vitch… oh wait…

So to Churchill… I have a question… why on earth did you dig up nearly year old threads?? Bite yourself on the arse much??
I had a vet and his crew come over and during the flex test slammed the legs down before jogging. It’s unbelievable what can happen.
That’s unbelievable, alright. I’m trying to imagine how a vet could do that…nope, can’t imagine it.

I’m also trying to imagine how the Canadian Olympic Committee would ask an American citizen to compete on their Olympic team. Last I heard, you have to be a citizen of the country you are competing for.

Oh my, I made a mistake and misspelled the misspelling. It was vishes. Bad Evil Vish, bad.
Your right those are some Ridiculous errors. They are amussing.

The funny thing is. I started A very successful and built a 2 million dollar comp. Wow. I may have a few silly spelling errors. But, I work very hard and I do know what im doing. With that said. I am again disapointed at the personal attacks. They dont bother me. As I said before I have nothing to prove. Ive done it all.
I worry about the vicious people that say things like you do. Its not relevent to churchill hunt club and the horses that we save and find good homes. Its pure evil which comes from jealousy .
Yes, churchill hunt club now churchill thoroughbreds is also very successful. I am very good at what i do and the horses prosper because of it. And you know what.
YOU HATE THAT.
SORRY BUT I AM NOT GOING AWAY AND I WILL NEVER STOP HELPING THESE HORSES.
Honestly, do your self a favor and just stop. You did get vicious right this time, im should be I’m, disapointed should be disappointed…the red lines of spelling errors just light up when I hit “quote” for a reply…

I don’t know you and really have no dog in this fight, but I honestly don’t remember seeing a post to a list as poorly written or spelled as yours. It does affect your credibility whether you like it or not. Maybe on Craigslist, but not on a legitimate board. Do yourself a favor if you want to be take seriously. Use spell check and proof read

I think the spell check boat has has sailed. The only thing I see that may help right now is a letter from her psychiatrist.

There have been a couple of teens. There was a memorable thread a few years ago in which a kid was arguing that she shouldn’t have to send a properly written email to race trainers she was asking for information for a school paper because, after all, it wasn’t school work.

Honestly, this poster’s grammar and spelling make my eyes bleed. If I got a response to a horse inquiry that looked like her posts, vetting would never even be an issue.

I agree with Go Fish-how does a vet slam the horse’s feet down? It must be Paul Bunyan or the Incredible Hulk, who pick the horse up and toss them up in the air, and their hooves slammed when they landed. Spell Check is one of the best things ever invented, and someone needs to use it.

And again Go Fish was right on-the Canadians have plenty of riders and horses, so I doubt they need to recruit here, and it’s not legal anyway except under very specific citizenship/olympic eligibility rules anyway. I guess a certain person thinks that Eric Lamaze and Ian should step down in their favor so they can do better internationally? Guess not.

Awww, missed most of the fun:confused:.

But STOP calling us “all you COTH HATERS”. In English, that would mean “one who hates COTH”. We LOVE COTH.

And stop quoting me multiple times. All I suggested was Googling your name. I am not a blogger. I am a local resident.

CHC under any name does NOT enjoy a good reputation among local horse pros and court records are not lies.

Generally successful businesses do not declare bankruptcy - just a thought…
That’s not true. I know many good people and successful businesses who file for Bankruptcy. It’s perfectly legal.

‘Successful’ and ‘bankruptcy’ don’t go together. If a business is successful, there’s no NEED to file bankruptcy.

Go get the popcorn…how about Bloody Mary’s instead of the old wine box?

Hey, mods, it keeps scratching at the door, can we pleeeeeze feed it and keep it around???

There are many reasons. This is why Donald Trump has filed numerous times. There are also many types that can be filed.

my best friend is one of the canadian selectors for the team, and as an american you WERE NOT! asked to join their team, plain and simple, that is a LIE.

Trump has filed numerous times because he’s made bad decisions and over extended himself. Thus, those ventures weren’t successful.

He’s made other business decisions that have been quite successful, which is why he’s always been able to recoup his losses.

Restructuring bankruptcies aren’t the same as bankruptcies that forgive all debts. I’m pretty sure the rest of the folks here understand that there are different types of bankruptcies, even if they’ve never had need to file.

Yeah but as a corporation and not for any of his successful businesses and chapter 11. Big difference between that and an average person or home business filing chapter 7.

Many people have endded up filing for bankrupcy in the past few years and there should be no shame in it but that generally means their business has folded and is by definition not successful.
