This is not so hard. Go walk around the local race tracks and let people know you will take their bad racers off their hands for free. Take them home and clean them up a tad and sell them under the auspices your an OTTB rescue (is she a not for profit or for profit?). If she sold 200 horses last year I am sure the IRS has record of all of her sales. Jumping a 2 year old is simply inexcusable. The track issue is that these young horses are being worked too early before bone plates close and then they go and do the same thing at the farm jumping them so high. She posts on equinenow.com and does NOT list prices which is very telling. Her contact form had so many misspellings and they ask what the budget is. How perfect…tell us what you have to spend and we will have the ones in your budget. After one pass through google of their names and the fact she has managed to blame everyone for their business failures or problems speaks volumes…i hear RUN FORREST RUN
She would be best served to stop responding and go away and hope people don’t find out her other side. At the end of the day if they are finding horses from the track, feeding them and selling them for a fair price then that is perfectly fine. Claiming they have to use their vet because every other vet caused problems is a huge red flag. I am sure she discloses the injuries and records from each horse since they are so young it shouldn’t be hard to locate.
I am still chuckling that the Canadian Olympic Team reached out to her and invited her on their team but she was too worn out to accept. Who trained her as a junior…never heard the name Sandra Chappell…has anyone else?
I will continue finding CANTER horses
