The buyer seems to be on a buying spree. https://dressage-news.com/2023/12/17/christian-simonson-on-americas-pan-american-games-gold-medal-team-to-compete-fleau-de-baian-developed-by-adelinde-cornelissen/

Curious what people think… I don’t know much about Endel Ots but I know someone who used to ride with him and loved him

I hope for the horses sake that this works out and he can stay there for a long time. It’s got to be hard to be moved around so much.

New owner should make sure the jaw is undamaged.

My only knowledge of him was seeing him ride with Isabel Werth at the WC in Omaha. I actually loved her teaching (much more than I love watching her ride) but she is TOUGH! It has to be humbling to ride in front of such a large crowd with someone you’ve never ridden with and have her be so critical, but he stayed quiet and gentle with his horse through all of that. Good sign to me!
Bohemian is assumed to be a challenging fit given various problematic times at shows vs good ones, and I know Bordeaux can throw personalities where you have to be the correct guiding negotiator to get along well. I’m hoping what I saw of Endel in Omaha means these two can be a long term, happy pair.

I’m looking forward to what Endel can do with Bohemian. Exciting future for team USA with all these new partnerships!

Sounds like Bohemian has found a great home, judging from that interview.

How interesting…
What’s your thoughts on this?

I am curious as to whether the mainstream registries will register those clones. I thought I saw something on some registry website that neither clones or foals of clones were eligible for registration but I can’t remember which registry.

Endel Ots scheduled to show Bohemian in Wellington tomorrow (3/1). Was also entered for today (Thurs) but scratched.

Part of this article also talks about their upcoming show debut:

Won his class, 72.5. Good start for them!

Little clip of a bareback ride (and I think in a halter too?)

Fascinating that he uses hypnotism to get his focus. As one of the easily distracted, I can fully understand how helpful that could be. (I wonder if it would work on my horse )

Its interesting to see so many professionals understanding the value of showing their kinder, gentler side at the moment, having fun with their horses. (I dont mean that as snark at all. My understanding is EO is one of the good guys.)

My g-d, that horse has legs for miles!

yes, legs for miles! I’m hoping that this pair develops a solid bond, EO sure seems to be on the right track but I recall the videos of B’s periodic blow ups in the ring. It was interesting to read that EO had never done a GP test until someone loaned him a ride just a short time prior to, or just after, this horse came to him.
