Has anyone at Rolex seen these new boots? Thoughts? I run my horses in Premiere Equine (back only) and Nunn Finer (fronts), but am always open to a new product!
I guess I did see them for sale at Rolex today, but didn’t give them a second glance since I’d never heard of them. Love the price!
What is the price? They’ve only been released this weekend and I can’t find much out about them online. I’d love to know more… ie, coverage, strike guard material, overall thoughts on them.
I have their open front boots. Love them. Bought after seeing a thread here. I have the eskadrons verduras and honesty they don’t hold a candle. The material is nice and holds up well. The lining is like the t boots but they stay cooler. They have that rear strike pad which makes me feel safer for my guys tendons. The price is also great. I would love to see the xc boots.

Not that I need new boots or anything 
I have the open front memory foam Majyk Equipe boots, I LOVE them but my horse dislikes the hinds so I will continue to use a lower end pair for the hinds. I dont know it they are just too much for his hind legs but he seems to not travel as well with them.
I would love to see their XC boots, have been waiting on them since they said they were going to come out at the end of 2012 but never did. Would probably want to see a few horses go in the XC boots and get my hands on them before deciding on them. Great prices though!
I handled the xc boots today & was quite impressed! They sre SUPER light weight and have a nice shield in them. Might need some in the future 
i have a set of their original open front and ankle boots and LOVE them. they’re light and breathe well. too bad i don’t think you can buy those anymore (they’re the non-memory foam ones) as i’d love another set.
I have the open fronts and hinds for my older boy and I love them. His hair gets rubbed off with most non-leather boots except Veredus, but these ones aren’t having that effect. They are well-made, don’t heat up the legs, and fit really well. They also seem to be holding up better than his $$$ Veredus.
They are very nice!! Can’t wait to get my own set, the price point can’t be beat!
Saw them at a trade show. They’re Eskadron types. Somewhere quality wise between Eskadron and the Romas and priced accordingly.
Info on the boots
I stopped by the booth today and their sales person took me through the whole thing. Apparently the boots are made with the same technology that Nike uses - the x country boots have no rip material and are really well made - the jump boots have the same air shock technology you see on high end running shoes. My friend bought a pair of the regular Majyk boots a while ago and swears by them so I’m not surprised Boyd has signed up with this company even though they’re not one of the bigger brands.
I did go on their web site and their are some test results that show they outperformed some of the leading boots. I think the people behind these boots used to make shoes for athletes so it seems to make sense with the Nike connection and all. I bought a pair of the Boyd x country boots - they are more than the regular Majyk boots but still under $100 so that’s good by me compared to all the super expensive ones I’ve bought before…
Can’t wait to get home and try them on my gelding.

Impact studies are great BUT where are the heat studies 
not to just single out Majyk Equipe in this regard, I find that no boot manufacturers seem to report the actual tendon temperatures when horse exercises with/without their “breathable” product …
(hoping a Majyk rep will drop by with a temp report :winkgrin: )

Right, it’d be so weird if a rep was already on this thread and didn’t self identify.
Love the idea of the memory foam and the looks but was also wondering about heat build up. Of course, I just ordered the PE Air Cooled from Smartpak last night but will watch the reviews on these. Ya can’t have too many boots, right?
bumping this thread up - wondering if people have them yet. I put my hands on a pair today and I think I’m sold. My mare is not liking her PE boots, I don’t put them on her for long/often, but I think they irritate her. These boots definitely seem like they will mold to the leg, and the inside was very soft to the touch.
Would love more feedback - and the price I thought was rather reasonable!

ETA - I meant to say I am referring to the XC boots specifically, although I am interested in hearing more about the open fronts and hinds - I am thinking about the open front and hind set for my every day boot. I generally have her in a fake sheepskin hind boot - she has very very sensitive skin!
After tearing 2 holes in our Tri Zone front cc boots a couple of weeks ago, the “rip stop” technology caught my attention. Probably wait until the AECs since I’d like to see them 1st. I hope one of the vendors there will have them.
Top Rail Tack (at many area II events) now carries them. I have seen them up close in action and am pretty impressed. I have been running in Dalmar fronts (12 years old) and PE hinds. I like the hinds, but the newer Dalmars are too stiff and give my guy rub marks, so I’m probably going to get the Majyks in front and see how they are.
