Breeders Cup

 It’s funny how passionate fans are about her. I love her, I hope she wins today, but I heard one of them call her “arguably the greatest horse in history” and just can’t agree with that.

Well, he is right, but a little harsh

IF she fails, ugh, can’t think, she should NOT get HOY. If she wins it can be no other.

And btw, how many G1s did Blind Luck win?

72,737 on site today at the Breeders’ Cup! Impressive for a cool late fall day and Breeders’ Cup event.

Its not looking good for Frankie on Dangerous Midge which is perhaps the full nickname for Madonna from back in the day

Good luck for the Firestone runner ‘Winchester’

Awful field for a $3million race.

ARgh, stupid local ABC is airing stupid f***ing Huskies football. Most useless game ever. And even I know the Huskies are just going to get their asses handed to them, anyway. And I actually just try to avoid football. With all the hoopla about the Classic, how can they not air it?! Dillholes!

Workforce shouldn’t have been scratched and it would’ve been a fat paycheck for a paid workout.

That graphic they used of Zenyatta was painful. It made her looked like a broom tailed, roached back, upside down neck critter. Very unbecoming and nothing like her.
So true.

Enjoy history folks as you just saw one of the best horses ever to run in a BC race.
Truer words, Glimmer

With the hushed tones we speak of Miesque in, it’s worth noting the connection and the majesty of what we just saw. Freddy Head, Goldikova’s trainer, rode Miesque to her two consecutive BC mile wins; now he’s trained Goldi to three straight. What a legacy, and what mares he’s been privileged to touch.

She’s the sort of horse we all wait for, breath abated. With all the cardiac integrity spent on Zenyatta these last few days, let’s not overlook the greatness of what we just saw simply because she’s not OURS. Perfection is perfection, no matter the nationality. Vive la Goldikova!

Workforce can’t perform of concrete. They did the right thing in scratching him.

We get to see a flying dismount!!

Dangerous Midge first, Champ Peagusus2nd, and bekabad 3rd for you not able to watch

BC Turf was won by a horse who’s only run in graded company in 10 starts was a G3 at Newbury (which he won).

Sad.

Oh, I do love Zenyatta! But, I also appreciate the other talent out there. I was screaming my head off for Goldikova!

I think people are going a bit overboard about Zen’s place in history (like comparing her to Secretariat). Still, I don’t normally follow racing anymore
but have lately due to Zenyatta. Love her personality. I also loved watching Rachel Alexandra
another wonderful mare.

Can you imagine what Mike Smith is going through right about now? The pressure. Unreal

I just hope she makes her move a little bit earlier
she takes a few years off my life with those late runs!

win

I’m getting chills. I may not be able to watch the Queen run! So excited, and nervous. Goldikova brought me to tears.

I CANNOT take it. Be still my franticly beating heart.

These stupid fans are freaking her out!!

This is wild stuff.
Fair play to ESPN for not talking over it. Who needs stupid talking heads, gimme just the horses.
