If I read EN correctly, always a doubt with me, the event will be accessable on You Tube. Anyone else read that?
Bromont is live right now on their Youtube channel. Also on Clipmyhorse.
Will anyone be there today?? I’m bringing DH and my mini-me for our annual day out. It’s a smokey one, but otherwise looks to be a decent day.
I will be watching this morning on the Bromont YouTube live stream.
Long hold right now in the 2*L
Fall of Ariel and her horse…being evaluated
we just left. Hope everyone is ok.
that was a fairly long hold, and Ariel withdrew her other horse that was in first after dressage in the division.
JP and her horse had a fall in the water upon being restarted but both were up quick.
the 3 and 4* went so well. sad to have two horse falls at the 2*
hope Ariel and her horse are ok.
That’s too bad. I hope it’s just bumps and bruises. The morning was so smooth.
I missed Ariel’s fall-how did she land? What part of her body hit the ground first? Jennie Brannigan posted that she is ok but sustained injuries and is talking even though it hurts. Did she land face first? Sounds horrible!
I want to commend whoever is doing the video of Bromont. They are doing a very good job of it. The terrain looks to be challenging.
I do not think the live stream showed Ariel’s fall.
Daria has also been withdrawn.
I wonder what happened with Landmark’s Mochachino in the 3* U25. I am pretty sure they had no jumping penalties, but have been Eliminated. That horse looked to be running away with its rider much of the time, so perhaps they were eliminated for dangerous riding??
I looked at their USEA record and they completed 7 events in four months leading up to Bromont, from Prelim to 3*. That sounds like a lot of competitions to me, but what do I know, my experience tops out at Training.
4* Long Ema Klugman disqualified on Chiraz…anyone know why?
horse passed the trop up this morning.
I was hoping the announcers on the livestream would explain the DQ, but they never mentioned it. In fact they just went silent for the last couple of riders and never acknowledged Emma Klugman’s DQ. Unless I just missed it.
Yes… the audio from the announcers stopped part way through on clipmy horse…
no mention was made of Ariel…except to hope she would be back competing soon …Bromont never made any announcement either…
and no mention of the DQ of Chiraz
Hmm doesn’t sound like the full story
If it was a recent rule change, I would hope that between a 5* rider, her coaches and her vet, this sort of mistake would not happen.
probably not the first time that a rule change slipped past the notice of rider, coach and vet, but yeah … if that is what happened, Ema and her team really screwed up, with heartbreaking results.
Is there a link somewhere to the results? Thanks in advance!
