Brown Dressage tack

My dark bay is in brown tack, but not by choice. (Only saddle we found that fit him is brown). Looks bad to me, and how I long for simple black on a dark horse. :frowning:

Mine is dappled medium gray, flea bitten on his face.

I like him in purple

Seriously, all of his stuff is black, even his halters and leads, I like it on him so much.

Hes only going to get lighter as he gets older;)

My mare is decently flea-bitten, nothing major but i do prefer the dappling on her, I am keeping her on the soy bean meal. I have to get pics of her in the winter when shes totally white its cool. but I am body clipping her before December to reduce coolout times and make it easier on me to keep her clean.

He’s already getting much lighter! He’s 7, and I figure he’ll be white by the time he is 11.

![](y wintec is in brown  and i LOVE IT!!!

i had to order it overseas, but i didn’t have to pay any extra (other than shipping, which wasn’t too bad) and i got the gullets and fittings thrown in for free.

here’s a pic

i didn’t have too hard of a time finding brown bridles… but i’m also not looking for doubles. the white padded one was only like $60 at dressage extensions and it’s decent quality. it’s my show bridle, so… it’s in great shape still. also have the wintec dressage girth which i ADORE!!! and i’m a big fan of the chocolate brown color moreso than the chestnutty brown color! which is why i love the wintec stuff so much!

now i’m trying to decide if i should stick with the white, or switch to a navy or brown saddle pad.

Ride On I sent a reply

i actually ordered the saddle from a tack store in town…she had it ordered from overseas through her supplier.

the bridle was dressage extensions, but i think you meant the saddle

thanks!!! i think quite highly of him myself too !!

I was hoping there was a site you got your Saddle off.
