Burghley

Absolutely no room for error at that corner.

That pair and Doug looked like they would certainly finish well, too.

Will be interesting to see who starts taking the option there.

Also glad this is CMP’s last year designing.

Is there an options for the wide oxers or just to take the longer route to the other corner?

I think there is an option. Hopefully people start taking it…

Imogen Murray & Ivar Gooden finish in fantastic form !!! Will be watching them in future.

No one inside the time yet …

What does “EUR” mean on the fence analysis? I assume “EHF” means eliminated, horse fall? Thanks.

I was about to say maybe Tim Price and Xavier, but then he had the trouble at the Trout Hatchery. Maybe he or Ollie will later on. Possibly Jonelle, Hannah Sue, Pippa, or Gemma too.

Eliminated. Unseated Rider.

Aka rider fall

Seeing the multiple Willberrys riding around makes me sad/happy

So … if you’re having a few unexpected difficulties, and then are held on course because the competitor in front of you dismantled an upcoming obstacle …

Tim Price is a master and interested in what he decides.

Surprised Xavier Faer is so backed off as I thought he was expected to be one for the future for one of the best 5* riders in the world.

Yet another one at the Maltings corner …

So interesting commentary that it is the combination that is taking the heart out of the horses.

Come on Liz!

I’m starting to hold my breath every time someone gets up to the Maltings …

Yay Liz smart decision at Maltings !!!11

And Trout Hatchery!

He opted to retire. Good decision after the 11 penalties IMO.

I’ve needed to open another bottle of champagne to continue to watch this  quite a lot of sketchy riding over an unforgiving course! Cheering hard for Samantha Lissington - she’s a fabulous rider.

:D:D:D Yay Liz !!!

Ridden with great intelligence and horsemanship. Liz rode the horse she had on the day, and the course as it came to her on the day. It paid off.

Perfectly said! Quote of the day!

Smart ride from Liz, good to see them finish clear and be home safe, even though it meant all the time penalties. Keeping fingers crossed that Vandiver wasn’t injured, they looked so good right up until the mishap at the Maltings!
