Let’s wait for some real confirmation on this before getting all excited. I just saw him out at the farm this morning after Dickie’s post. Business as usual was going on out there sorry to say.

Speaking of business as usual, can anybody tell me why WV most notably Mountaineer, is allowing steroid use?

Word has spread like fire in a haybarn about that amongst the low life gyps and now they’re all anxious to run their horses there.

Hey West Virginia, what ever were you guys thinking!!!

Dicks blog updated…
http://businessasusualdickhertz.blogspot.com/2010/07/darrel-delahoussaye-arrested.html

Yes, Darrel Delahoussaye faces 3 misdemeanor counts along with 2 felonies.
He has been charged with
* Theft by deception
* Tampering with physical evidence
* Fixing a public event
* Administering drugs to a racehorse

thank you to Dick Hertz for keeping us posted.

And from the Paulick Report

I understand most of the charges but not the illegally adminstering medications part. Why aren’t all trainers who get a bad test arrested if that is a crime instead of a rules violation?

Did you catch the last sentence? “He was also charged with reselling horses he promised would be retired to a petting zoo.” ???

Once was a time that they were. Tracks for some inexplicable reason will not refer things like this to law enforcement for prosecution as they should.

Question I have is why have I been seeing him all day long driving in and out of the farm and track? Did he bail out or was he released on own recognizance before the ink was dry on his arrest paperwork? Nonetheless let’s hope it’s the first of many arrests.

A special thanks to Dick Hertz. This thread and his efforts are directly responsible for this. All that is necessary for evil to prevail is for good people to do nothing. Once again anybody out there who has paid for stalls? Is no more repercussions to fear from these people their going down. Time to take a stand horsemen. The cleaning house has begun. Thanks PSP

Yes, thank you Dick Hertz!

So did he just take a huge fall for SB? I think I hear the birds singing…

He is out on 20k bail.

Wonder if they were supposed to go to the petting zoo that was once owned by Burton Sipp… how ironic.

They need to stop Delahoussaye from running horses under other people’s names, like Harry Hepbron.

I’m wondering that too… seems to me that it has now become a first degree misdemeanor and third degree felony in Pa.

How can anything be a misdemeanor AND a felony?

20K bail is dirt cheap and he was out and about all day today.

I would wager that he already made a deal to roll over on a bunch of people. This would explain the cheap bail. Time for folks upstairs to start getting nervous.:smiley:

The low bail mostly reflects the fact that these are misdemeanors and third-degree felonies.

According to BH.com, one of the drugs he’s charged with using is snake venom.
