Can anyone recommend a non-TS belt for wide belt loops?

Most of my breeches (not just the TS) now have the wide, two inch belt loops and I’d like to have at least one wider belt.

I am the only person in the universe who does not like the classic TS quilted belt or the knockoffs of that style. Some of the other TS styles are cute but not $100+ worth of cute. I have several Tory belts, which are lovely for the $30-40 price but the widest width I can find is 1.5 inches.

Can anyone recommend a slightly more affordable wide belt? Preferably all leather, doesn’t have to be an equestrian brand.

Ralph Lauren makes some really nice wide belts that fit the TS belt loops perfectly. I pick them up at the outlet for under $50.

French Fry, you’re not the only one-our trainer doesn’t like them! I have been meaning to check out the Oliver Green belts which are a softer material. Target do have some nice 2 inch belts but few colors.

I have an old Ariat belt that I found on sale a few years ago that I wear with my TS. It’s really cute but definitely not available anymore. That said, Ariat has a few options that I love right now, though they are a little pricey…

Clever with Leather makes some really nice belts, and they have options that are wider.

If you’re brave, you could rock a blingy belt (which I absolutely do).

OP said she does not like that style. I think a plain, wide leather belt would be very appropriate and easy to find for a reasonable price at TJMaxx or someplace similar.

Men’s ariat

My daughter has been wearing a wide Ariat belt for about five years. Same belt, probably gets worn five days a week. This thing has worn like iron. I keep waiting for it to wear out, but it just keeps going. I think it is actually a men’s belt and I think it is the one in the link below. No bling but wide with a good size buckle. Looks great with the new Tailoreds. Ridiculously cheap. I see it is available at countryoutfitter dot com under their men’s Ariat belts.

Macy’s has quite a few, and they are much cheaper than anything from a tack store.

Another vote for men’s belts. Mine is almost 5 years old, gets worn almost every day in breeches and/or jeans. I believe it is either an older Ariat or a Wrangler belt (similar to this one, only brown:http://www.wrangler.com/store/WRG_STORE_US/en_US/style/bw21541.html?showNonbuyableFromTN=true#categoryId=22204). I did end up having to punch a few extra holes, but am in love with this belt and wouldn’t hesitate to buy more! Another incentive: less than $20!
